2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

(Do right)
Everytime I say
Come closer my dear
I need you to be by my side
And every night I feel
You're driftin' away
I can tell what it means
That look in your eyes
'Cause I've seen it before
And it holds no surprise
(Do me right)
You've been holding me tight
But your mind's on the new girl in town
Now you know that you're lying
And there's no use denying
'Cause this is the time baby
Do right
(Baby do right by me)
(Just want you to)
Do right
Baby do right by me
Bop ba dop bop ba dop bop ba dop (Hey)
Bop ba dop bop ba dop bop ba dop
All that I need from you
Is that comes straight from the heart
You have to be cruel to be kind
And if I should lose you now
I may hurt for a while
But I'll leave all the sadness behind
Life's not always the way that I want it to be
But given the choice I would rather be free
(Do me right)
You've been holding me tight
But your mind's on the new girl in town
Now you know that you're lying
So there's no use denying
This is the time baby
Do right
(Baby do right by me)
(Just want you to)
Do right
Baby do right by me
Bop ba dop bop ba dop bop ba dop (Hey)
Bop ba dop bop ba dop bop ba dop
Do right
(Baby do right by me)
(Just want you to)
Do right
Baby do right by me
Do right
(Baby do right by me)
(Just want you to)
Do right
Baby do right by me
"Do Right" by Incognito is a song that talks about the struggles of a relationship. The lyrics portray the singer's desire for their partner to be honest with them regarding their affections, for they suspect that their partner is drawn to someone else. The singer acknowledges the pain they may feel if they lose their partner, but ultimately, they would rather be free than to continue in a relationship plagued by mistrust and deceit. They urge their partner to "do right" by being honest with them, and to prioritize their relationship over any external distractions.
The lyrics of "Do Right" beautifully capture the complexities of relationships, particularly when it comes to trust and honesty. It takes a lot of communication and effort to make a relationship work, but even then, there may be doubts and insecurities that emerge. The lyric "life's not always the way that I want it to be, but given the choice I would rather be free" is particularly poignant, as it highlights that even in the face of uncertainty and possible heartbreak, it's better to know the truth than to continue living in a lie.
