their second album 'mcgillroy the houselfy' followed in 92 and is regarded by many as a masterpiece of german death metal. showing a band that had matured in songwriting ability, technical prowess and lust for experimentation the album is masterful cross between king crimson, voivod and morbid angel. again the vocal abilites of singer chris left the critics astonished.
the original band desolved after 'mcgillroy' and the following albums could not keep up to the high standarts of the first two albums.
Plants of the Bizarre
Incubator Lyrics

Of you laughing in a dream
Which may be true
Plants - Of - The - Bizarre
You feel a act of mercy
Those gluttonous
Creatures
Are tasting lovely meat
By sins - Sins
You're damned
To suffering
In a world of
Horrible illusions
Disfigure me condemned
To pray
That what I see is
The expulsion of my soul
My flesh is burning still
My tears are falling hard
The tomb of love is
Psycho terror
My life is just a
Crippled error
So stand up and touch
My greens
My power will destroy
Your last human signs
Plants of the bizarre
Gastric juice comes out
Of you
You screaming
Loud I am laughing still
Oh, father see these doors
Are closed for me
I can't escape, what shall I do
My loniest wish
Is to escape
This place is hot
And I shall burn
The - Plants - Of - The - Bizarre
The lyrics to Incubator's song, "Plants of the Bizarre," are quite vivid and striking in their imagery. The song seems to describe a surreal, dreamlike world in which the singer is trapped and tortured by a group of grotesque, carnivorous plants. The opening lines suggest that the singer may be experiencing this as a kind of nightmare, or possibly even as a hallucination, when they sing of "whispering from a part inside of you laughing in a dream which may be true." However, the following lines quickly dispel any doubts about the reality of the situation, as the plants are described in graphic detail: "Those gluttonous creatures / Are tasting lovely meat."
As the song progresses, it becomes clear that the singer is not only trapped and tormented by the plants, but also deeply troubled by their own inner demons. They sing of being "damned to suffering / In a world of horrible illusions," and of feeling "condemned to pray / That what I see is the expulsion of my soul." The imagery of being "disfigured" and "burning" suggests a kind of spiritual agony or torment, as well as physical pain. But despite the singer's anguish, there is also a sense of defiance and rebellion, as they declare that "my power will destroy / Your last human signs / Plants of the bizarre."
Overall, "Plants of the Bizarre" is a haunting and surreal song that combines vivid imagery with a sense of profound spiritual and emotional turmoil. Its themes of captivity, suffering, and rebellion are all interwoven in a complex and powerful way that invites multiple interpretations.
