Bruce Lee
Indian Handcrafts Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
That's not how we roll down in Hong Kong
Shot on set watch me take the fall
Pushing up daisies on the great wall
It's a game of death
It's your last breath
Run for your life
Infiltrate the rival bike gang
Yellow jump suit makes me look the same
Face Hakim the giant afro man
Billy Lo avenge Jeet Kune Do hand
It's a game of death
It's your last breath
Run for your life
Cuz you know I'm coming for you
This is hard, these are death feet
Swords! – Twin! – Sais! – Dragon!
Chopped in the head like a son'f'a'bitch
The lyrics of Indian Handcrafts' 'Bruce Lee' pay homage to the martial arts legend from Hong Kong, who is still remembered for his unique fighting style and his roles in action films. The song starts with a reference to gold-diggers who want her (referring to Bruce Lee) to sing a song, but that's not how things work down in Hong Kong. The second line talks about someone being shot on set, and "pushing up daisies on the great wall". This could be a reference to Bruce Lee's death, which took place at a young age while he was filming 'Game of Death'. The song's chorus talks about how it's a 'game of death', and how the singer is coming for you.

I saw these guys live when I went to see Billy Talent. Indian Handcrafts, Hollerado, Sum 41, Billy Talent! These guys were sweet to see live but a lotta their stuff sounds similar. They sounded like they only played 5 songs out of a 8-10 song set, but high energy, love the vocal sound and the guitar
