But the real beginning was the song "Drogi" which appeared two years later on "Part One". It was Gutek's first album and Banach's tenth but in many ways his first as he recorded it in a way he had never before.
In 2002 a decision about making the second record was made. The first meeting after couple of years took place in much nicer surroundings - somewhere half way between Szczecin and Koszalin in the attic of the house, boarding with the forest, first song for the new album - "Mental Revolution" was born. Later "The Sign" and "The Sun" were polished although Banach got the idea for those two while in Greece.
It's a very cosmopolitan record - two Poles under Spanish-sounding name, recording Jamaican music, ideas of which were first born in France, Greece and Japan. Even if we try to place Indios Bravos' music somewhere in Poland it proofs to be very difficult. Gutek was born, grew-up and lives in Katowice. Banach on the other hand is from Szczecin and lives in Warsaw. Szczecin is also home of the musicians who make Indios Bravos - the live band because from October 2002 Indios Bravos is not just a studio project but a full band set.
The first gig was very humble. Gutek and Banach were supported on stage by Pawel Gawronski (keboard and backing vocals) and Krzysztof Sak (guitar). Later the band expanded and was joined by Ryszard Labul (bass), Przemek Filipkowski (keyboard) and Tomek Kubik (drums).

Indios Bravos Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Kiedy niesie się na wojnę (jak?)
Bo na wojnie jak wiadomo
Jest zbyt głośno, zbyt czerwono (o tak...)
Ludzie jacyś tacy inni
Mniej przyjaźni, mniej niewinni
A do tego wzrasta trwoga
Że być może nie ma Boga (nie ma Go?)
A może będzie dobrze?
A może będzie dobrze?
A może będzie dobrze?
Byłoby dobrze
Jak tu snuć na przyszłość plany
Gdy wojenne czasy mamy (jak?)
Podczas wojny każdy w planie
Tejże wojny ma przetrwanie (tylko to!)
Ludzie wtedy jacyś inni
Mniej przyjaźni, mniej niewinni
A do tego wzrasta trwoga
Że być może nie ma Boga (nie ma Go?)
A może będzie dobrze?
A może będzie dobrze?
A może będzie dobrze?
Byłoby dobrze
The Polish lyrics of "Peace Blues" by Indios Bravos conveys a sense of hopelessness and desperation in times of war, urging listeners to ponder the odds of finding peace and solace in such tumultuous scenarios. The song begins by asking how one could possibly maintain a peaceful state of mind whilst war rages on, as war is loud and violent by nature. In war times, people are portrayed as being different, less friendly, and less innocent, and the fear creeps in that maybe there is no God to intervene and bring an end to the conflict.
The second verse further highlights the difficulty of planning for the future during times of war. Everyone's survival instinct kicks in and the focus shifts to planning for the continuity of war operations. People are again described as different, less friendly, and less innocent, and the same worrisome thought arises about the possibility of no God. The repetition of the phrase "A może będzie dobrze?" (Maybe it will be alright?) throughout the song strikes a conflicting chord as the meant-to-be soothing sentiment is repeatedly juxtaposed against the gloomy reality of war and the uncertainty it brings.
