Now Is Gold
Infected Mushroom Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

So now is gold,
I see her wings and I’m not cold
The fear is gone
And I am ready to move on...

So now is gold,
I see her wings and I’m not cold
The fear is gone
And I am ready to move on...

(Oh oh oh oh oh oh...)

So now is gold,
I see her wings and I’m not cold

The fear is gone
And I am ready to move on...

I honestly see this song as one the the best musical representations of psychedelia. That beginning come up, slightly eerie like you're not sure what you're getting yourself into. It then moves into this strange pulsating drive like the music is going somewhere but you have no idea where. Then it hits that final breakthrough into pure psychedelic bliss. When it's coupled with Rise Up right after it just feels like getting through a crazy trip then that beautiful moment of clarity right afterwards.

My only issue with this song, despite it being six minutes long, is that it's feels too short.
