Now Is Gold
Infected Mushroom Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

So now is gold,
I see her wings and I’m not cold
The fear is gone
And I am ready to move on...

So now is gold,
I see her wings and I’m not cold
The fear is gone
And I am ready to move on...

(Oh oh oh oh oh oh...)

So now is gold,
I see her wings and I’m not cold

The fear is gone
And I am ready to move on...

The "drop" was exactly what I wanted it to be. Not every change of energy in a song needs to break out into the Harlem Shake, in my opinion. Infected Mushroom has always been more tactful with their choices in musical shifts throughout their tracks, and I love that about them. Louder isn't always better.

slamminator314 people complain that it's not a drop. it's not a normal drop and that suits this song

ALSO, that 2nd DROP MELTS BRAINS, for the people who need a hard drop. This song is probably my favorite infected mushroom song, its fast but soft, alot of their songs have rockguitars going on in the background which is ok but nothing does it like straight synths and electronic noises :)

King Vendrick

the quote un-quote drop at 3:40 is an always eargasm.

EmeraldAssassin Agreed. Although I do feel like they sometimes hit the drop too hard in a few of their later songs, like Return to the Sauce

@King Vendrick I go to that drop to die instantly. The first "soft drop" leaves you wanting more. Then the build up from 3:30-3:40 amps the shit out of you. And the the drop is incredible, despite not just being MLG earrape wubs.

Mmm, can I just have the first 45 seconds, as a full song? Can that be a thing? Those were some of the most beautiful vocals I've ever heard.
