Realidad
Inspector Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
Parece que nunca te voy a olvidar y as
piro que estoy perdido,
Realidad es que yo no sé vivir sin ti
Y me siento tan vacío
This verse from Inspector's song "Realidad" is about the singer's longing to go back and change things. They wish they could start over, but they feel like they are lost without the person they are addressing in the song. The reality is that they don't know how to live without this person, and they feel empty as a result. The use of the phrase "realidad es" (reality is) emphasizes the fact that the singer is facing a hard truth: they are struggling to move on from this person who has left them feeling lost and alone.
The emotion and longing in this verse are emphasized by the samba-like instrumentation and upbeat tempo of the song overall. The lyrics convey a sense of conflict and sadness, as the singer is torn between wanting to move on and feeling stuck in their emotions. The use of repetition in the line "Parece que nunca te voy a olvidar" (It seems like I'll never forget you) emphasizes the singer's struggle with letting go.
Overall, Inspector's "Realidad" is a powerful and emotional song about love, loss, and the difficulty of moving on.
