The song "Se Hunde el Barco" by Inspector talks about a relationship that is on the verge of collapsing. The singer begins by asking the listener to look around and tell him what they see, as a storm is approaching, but the other person does not believe him. As they continue to drift along without direction, the singer warns that they should save themselves if they can because he knew that this was going to happen someday, and now the ship is sinking, and the other person doesn't know how to swim.
The second verse reiterates the first, emphasizing that the world is falling apart, and the singer can't find a way out. He tells the other person not to bother leaving a note because he's used to them leaving whenever something goes wrong. The chorus repeats again, emphasizing that the ship is sinking, and the other person is not prepared for what's coming.
The song is a metaphor for a collapsing relationship, comparing it to a sinking ship in a storm. The lyrics are straightforward, warning the other person of the impending disaster and urging them to save themselves. It's a poignant and powerful song that speaks to the pain of love lost.
