@@mr_yoshidasan This is as you would say to the developer of the keyboard:

No you are not a genius as the typewriter was before your invention. Oh wait no before that was the movable letter of Gutenberg. Oh no before that was the wood carving printing of bibles. Oh no before that was papyrus and stone tablets. Oh no before that was the development of the Roman letter system. Oh no before that was the "cuneiform". Oh no before that were depictions on cave walls. Oh no before that were grunting humans........

So who is the true "inventor" and genius? The neanderthals?

There are some close resemblences of motives from Holst from Planets but instead of seeing this as a plagiat like you do true lovers of great music see it as a homage.

Mr. Williams obviously was inspired by Holst work but he did something new and unique with the similar motives and is for my personal taste WAY more emotional but this is because it branded me when I was 4.5 yrs old when I (after MUCH MUCH begging) was allowed to see SW New Hope 1978 in my European movie theatre when it aired here.

Instead yt changed it to ha, ha(as in laughter}. I tried to correct a couple of times until it seemed to do it on its own..Go figure, lol.

I was lucky enough to have seen SW in´77 at a theater when I was 12 .I was speechless after the film was over. I could not believe what I just saw.

@ThankfulQue

Me too. To this day the music starting is connected to great memories and still kicks the adrenaline up! The walls in our theater lobby were papered with aluminum foil. So much fun!

@robinreynolds3429

I saw it in '77, too,. I was 11. That was it for me. A diehard fan. It drive my kids nuts to listen to me quote everyone's lines before they said them!

@ThankfulQue

@@robinreynolds3429 I feel like those of us who had that experience were really fortunate! Before instant everything, it meant something to go to a movie and never know when or if you might get to again. I stick with the first 3, but my kids have seen them all. My grandson's journey to a galaxy far, far away has just begun. Thankfully his parents started him with the original. It's amazing how one man's vision, talent, and perseverance have changed the world.
