GOLD
Interferance Lyrics

I wouldn't trade her for gold
Walking on moonbeams
I was born with a silver spoon
Hell I'm gonna be me
Gonna be free
Walking on moonbeams
And if a door be closed
Then a row of homes start building
And tear your curtains down
For sunlight is like gold
Hell you better be you
Do what you can do
Walking on moonbeams
And staring out to sea
'Cause if your skin was soil
How long do you think before they'd start digging
And if your life was gold
How long do you think you'd stay living
And I love her so
I wouldn't trade her for gold
The Interference's song Gold is a romantic song that speaks about a deep and unbreakable love that the singer has for his significant other. He mentions that he wouldn't trade her for gold, a precious and valuable metal that has always been sought after. The singer also talks about walking on moonbeams, which might signify a sense of bliss and happiness. He also mentions that he was born with a silver spoon, meaning he was born into a wealthy family, and life has been pretty comfortable for him.
Later in the song, the singer encourages us to be ourselves and embrace our uniqueness. He talks about knocking down closed doors and letting in sunlight, which is like gold. This might symbolize breaking down barriers and letting yourself shine through. Being free and staring out to sea, perhaps signifies the freedom to explore and be adventurous.
The song concludes by asking some thought-provoking questions about the value of a person's life. If your skin was soil, would someone dig into it, and if your life was gold, how long would it be before you passed away? The song is encouraging us to appreciate life, embrace our uniqueness, and value those we love.

In all my life I couldn't understand why I didn't hear more tunes like this... Today I read that the musicians have to pay money for their tunes to be heard on the radio. Is this true? And there I was wondering why all the dj's hadn't discovered the music before myself. Thank god for youtube.
