Para tu falso amor
Son cosas del ayer
Que me atormentan hoy
El llanto sólo fue
Por causa de mi error
Aprendí a llorar
Vete ya (vete ya)
Ofrece tu amor
No me causes más dolor
Vete ya (vete ya)
Te lo vuelvo a repetir
Lo tendré que admitir
Me equivoqué contigo
El llanto sólo fue
Por causa de mi error
Aprendí a llorar
Pero no a rogar
Vete ya (vete ya)
Ofrece tu amor
No me causes más dolor
Vete ya (vete ya)
Te lo vuelvo a repetir
Lo tendré que admitir
Me equivoqué contigo
Me equivoqué contigo
Me equivoqué contigo
The lyrics to Intocable's song Vete Ya depict a speaker who has realized the painful truth about their relationship. They regretfully acknowledge that they were once the highest bidder for their partner's false love, but now suffer from the torment of their past actions. The singer has learned the painful lesson of heartbreak and crying, but refuses to beg for their partner's return. Instead, they repeat the titular phrase of "vete ya" or "go away" in Spanish, encouraging their partner to leave and offer their love elsewhere. The singer admits fault in the relationship, and notes that their tears were solely due to their own error.
The song is a powerful testament to the struggles of heartbreak and the importance of learning from past relationships. It highlights the courage it takes to admit fault, and the hope that one can grow and heal from past mistakes. The repeated phrase of "vete ya" resembles a sense of release or catharsis, as the singer encourages their partner to leave and create space for both parties to move on from the hurt.
