Read Full Bio ↴Introvoys is a Filipino rock band based in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Introvoys was formed in 1986 by 3rd-G Cristobal, Paco Arespacochaga, and Jonathan Buencamino. Their first album was a "diamond in the rough". After two duds for singles, Dyna Records, which was the band's label, was ready to drop them like a hot potato. However, fate had a different plan. "However Which way" which was the band's third single shot all the way to No. 1 in Metro Manila in just 2 weeks. After a month, the ditty became the country's No. 1 song thus paving the way for a national tour for the Introvoys. Culled from the same album are certified No. 1 singles such as , "Calling All Nations","Maynila" and "Lullabye" among many others. Their second album sealed Introvoys' status in the mainstream. Born from this album were songs that are now classified as standard hits. These songs are "Will I Survive", "Di NaKo Aasa Pa", "Binibini" and "Are You Happy". Eventually, the album shot to quadruple platinum status earning the Introvoys the tag "the No. 1 Band in the Land!". In 1994 they released Line to Heaven album which has melodies that are catchy and pop-inflected, some of which are imbedded in rock-styled arrangements. The carrier single was written after Arespacochaga suffered a terrible tragedy, the loss of his parents in a car accident. He left the band in 1996 rejoined in 2000. Ira Cruz, who had played with Introvoys from 1987 to 1991, joined Passage and Kapatid. In 2001, Ira rejoined Introvoys for the short-lived reunion run. After nothing much happened since, Ira decided to pursue other interests. In 1995, Jobert Buencamino left the band for health and personal reasons. It was during this time that Introvoys invited Paku Herrera of Neocolours to carry on Jobert’s chores. After years of hiatus and a brief reunion in 2001, followed by another period of creative resting, they decided work on a new album entitled A Brighter Day in 2005. In December of 2006, the band released a follow-up album entitled, "New Beginnings". Surely you'll be mine
In a little while, I'll be there
In a little while
This hurt will hurt no more
I'll be home, love
When the night takes a deep breath
If I crawl, if I come crawling home
Will you be there?
In a little while
I won't be blown by every breeze
Friday night running to Sunday on my knees
That girl, that girl she's mine
Well I've known her since
Since she was
A little girl with Spanish eyes
When I saw her first in a pram they pushed her by
Oh uh my, my how you've grown
Well it's been, it's been a little while
Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Slow down my beating heart
A man dreams one day to fly
A man takes a rocket ship into the skies
He lives on a star that's dying in the night
And follows in the trail, the scatter of light
Turn it on
Turn it on, you turn me on
Slow down my beating heart
Slowly, slowly love
Slow down my beating heart
Slowly, slowly love
Slow down my beating heart
Slowly, slowly love
The song "In A Little While" by Introvoys features the theme of longing for a lover, and the anticipation of being reunited with them. The lyrics express the hope that in a little while, the singer and their loved one will be together again, and the pain of separation will be forgotten. The opening lines of the song create a sense of inevitability; "Surely you'll be mine," suggests that it is only a matter of time before the singer and their lover are reunited.
The second verse of the song introduces the idea of crawling back to the loved one if necessary. The metaphor of "night" and "daylight" suggests a relationship that has gone through dark times, but may still have hope for the future. The line "If I come crawling home/Will you be there?" is a plea for understanding and forgiveness; the singer is willing to humble themselves to be with their lover once again.
The third verse of the song features nostalgic reflections on the time the singer and their lover first met. The imagery of a "little girl with Spanish eyes" is particularly poignant, as it suggests innocence and vulnerability. The line "Oh uh my, my how you've grown" expresses a sense of wonder and amazement at how much the loved one has changed over the years.
Overall, "In A Little While" is a song about hope and perseverance in the face of adversity. The lyrics speak to the universal experience of longing for someone we cannot be with, and the power of love to overcome obstacles.

In a little while
Soon enough
Surely you'll be mine
Without a doubt, you'll be mine
In a little while, I'll be there
Soon, I'll come and be there
This hurt will hurt no more
The pain I feel will end
I'll be home, love
I'll come back to you, my love
When the night takes a deep breath
When the night grows silent
And the daylight has no air
And the sun seems lifeless
If I crawl, if I come crawling home
If I come back to you, humbly
Will you be there?
Will you still be with me?
I won't be blown by every breeze
I won't be swayed by everything
Friday night running to Sunday on my knees
The weekend goes by quickly
That girl, that girl she's mine
I have a special girl in my life
Well I've known her since
I've known her for a long time
Since she was
Since she was a young girl
A little girl with Spanish eyes
A young girl with beautiful brown eyes
When I saw her first in a pram they pushed her by
When I first saw her, she was in a stroller
Oh uh my, my how you've grown
Wow, you've grown up so much
Well it's been, it's been a little while
It's been a long time
Slow down my beating heart
Calm down my excited heart
A man dreams one day to fly
People aspire to great things
A man takes a rocket ship into the skies
People pursue their dreams relentlessly
He lives on a star that's dying in the night
He pursues a dying dream
And follows in the trail, the scatter of light
And chases the path that others left behind
Turn it on
Start something
Turn it on, you turn me on
You inspire and motivate me
Slowly, slowly love
Take it slow, my love
