Intwine Lyrics

Memories so bittersweet, took for granted
Everything around me, all the warm emotions
Now I'm stuck here in the cold
Waiting for you to come around
Don't know how long I can have been pretending to hold on
Just stand outside with my hands of high
Even though it wasn't always fun,all surrounded
Picture perfect, who's got days? I was grounded
But lighted by the beauty, everyone outthrew me
Maybe never cared at all
Waiting for you to come around
Don't know how long I can have been pretending to hold on
Just stand outside with my hands of high
I know you notice, hope you hear me, please, don't pass me by
Sucker for love, out in the cold
Waiting for you to come around
Don't know how long I can have been pretending to hold on
Just stand outside with my hands of high
Hope you notice, hope you hear me, please, don't pass me by
Out in the cold, reachin' out high
Sucker for love, out in the cold
In the song "Solo" by Intwine, the lyrics describe the feeling of loneliness and longing for home. The artist is reminiscing about memories from home, which are now bittersweet as they realize they took them for granted. They are stuck in a cold and lonely place, waiting for someone to notice them, hoping that they do not pass them by. They express their vulnerability as a "sucker for love" and they are out in the cold, reaching out their hands high.
The song lyrics evoke a sense of isolation, homesickness, and a desire for affection. The artist is pleading for someone to come around and bring them comfort. The use of imagery in the song, such as "out in the cold" and "reaching out high" suggests a feeling of being stranded, helpless, and in need of companionship. The song lyrics reveal the artist's vulnerability and their need for connection.
