Intruder
Inure Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Forced entry lurks & follows
(Penetrating)
To just inside the chest
(Inside the chest)
Dropping forth & sunken in
(Now hollow)
And picking at the rest
(Forced into me)
Weight falls upon & dancing
(& dancing)
This cavity infects
(Controlled now)
Coating walls sick with feeling
(Sick with feeling)
A butterfly in jest
(Changing shape)
Coaxing to regurgitate
(To regurgitate)

Bitter taste is just regrets
(I'm choking)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "Intruder" by Inure describe a feeling of violation and invasion, both physical and emotional. The song opens with the idea of "forced entry," suggesting a brutal intrusion that the singer is unable to defend against. The lyrics then describe the intrusion as "penetrating" and "just inside the chest," which brings to mind both physical assault and emotional trauma. The idea of something "dropping forth & sunken in" adds to this feeling of violation, as something foreign and unwelcome is taking root inside the singer's body. The lines "weight falls upon & dancing / this cavity infects" paint a vivid picture of the physical and emotional pain caused by this intrusion, with the singer feeling entirely controlled by something they cannot escape. The final lines of the verse, "coating walls sick with feeling / a butterfly in jest," suggest a sense of confusion and disorientation, as if the singer is struggling to make sense of what has happened and what it means for them.

The chorus of the song continues to explore the feelings of powerlessness and turmoil that the singer is experiencing. The line "coaxing to regurgitate / bitter taste is just regrets" suggests that the intrusion is causing the singer to feel sick, both physically and emotionally. The idea of being "coaxed" suggests that someone or something is trying to force the singer to confront their trauma, even though they may not be ready or willing to do so. The final line, "I'm choking," drives home the sense of fear and helplessness that the singer is experiencing, as they struggle to cope with the fallout of the intrusion.

Overall, the lyrics to "Intruder" paint a vivid picture of emotional and physical violation, as the singer struggles to come to terms with a traumatic event. Technically, unless they have changed quite a few rules, Area 51 is a military facility and it falls under military law. Even approaching the gates is enough for the security force to not only intervene but to ask and allow local LEO to conduct actions.
On military property the regular rights of citizens no longer apply in a normal fashion.
As a friend in the 'grey area' of that little universe once told me; you have the right to keep breathing. That and anything else is up to the security crew.
What can certainly happen is a full search of the suspect and their vehicle.
Any electronic recording device can be seized, analyzed and destroyed.
The investigations that follow if they do arrest you are extremely thorough. Your entire private universe will be inspected.
If you are arrested with anything illegal or a weapon, you will wind up in a special hell of problems.
I do not recall if extreme force is authorized to stop trespassers at Area 51, but there are bases where getting shot is a very high possibility.

For the total idiots; Area 51 is not a hotel for aliens or illegal projects. It is probably the most advance research facility in the US for the Air Force. Because of that, anything going on there is classified. So just be smart, dont go there, dont poke the bear. The security is highly efficient and they will find you. I doubt you will ever see the main buildings.
Use Google Earth; it's much safer.

Damn some trolls probably catfished that dude and told him to roll up on Area 51 😂

Smoke_Rising

Right. Jane Clark is a pretty fake sounding name too. I mean I'm sure that's a real person. But when this guy says it sounds sus.

@Smoke_Rising What about Chelsea Strange?😂😂

Agent Orange

@The QuickSand Show The confidence in which he dropped those names leads to me to believe he thought they were real people. Seems like reality came crashing down towards the end of the interaction. Dude looks more desperate than crazy.

The QuickSand Show

@Agent Orange I agree. I watch lolcows all the time. It's crazy what people fall for.

Funny how dude's demeanor changed so much by the end. It was like he snapped back to reality.

Coldblackice

The wait had him worrying they might be arranging his soon-to-be "disappearing"

Probably knew seeing the security dude’s that his game was up.
