Bursting out the scene from Port Neches, Texas comes Invent Animate. A 5 piece metalcore band simply doing what they love. With a different style than most metalcore bands, Invent Animate is bringing a fresh new sound to the scene. Come on out and support!
Everything starts as a simple thought. A thought grows into an idea, and it's your job to bring it to life. That's exactly how Invent Animate formed in late 2010. After a few demos Invent Animate is ready to bring you their debut EP "Waves" in 2012, on one track it even features Brandon McMaster from The Crimson Armada!
In 2012, they went back to the studio to record again, with Brian Hood again. Their debut album Everchanger was released in 2014 via InVogue Records

The lyrics to Invent Animate’s song Waves depict a ship sinking and the struggles that come with it. The line “compose yourself, this is not another drill” sets the tone for the impending danger. The singer of the song acknowledges that everyone on the ship is going under and that stability would have been the way to guide them through the crisis. However, it is too late for that now, as abandoning ship is the only option.
The second half of the song is a plea to start over, to go to a different place where the pain and hurt of the current situation can be left behind. The singer is willing to give everything to make a fresh start and move forward. The final line, “waves crashing down on me but I am moving forward,” conveys a sense of resilience and strength in the face of adversity.
