Does the execptions #7 have to do with Chronological Order ?

I saw it in "Wordtothetop" from teacher Adam.

In 2nd Conditional, can I use "HAD" instead ?

example: HAD you not to spend so much money on shoes, you would have more savings .


= Were you not to spend so much money on shoes, you would have more savings . Is it r i g h t ?
