The Strongest
Invictus Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Since the day you made me die
The witch opened my eyes
And told me "Steal his power"
"You'll rise from your ashes"

I feel the earth beneath my feet
I will reach Heaven's gates
And I will face the dark one
And burn his dirty mind

[Chorus]
With the passing of time
I will reclaim
My life with her
With the passing of time
I'll be the strongest

I promise you I'll make you cry
And soon you will implore
You will be the king no more
Of your kingdom of pain

You'll end up six feet under
I will dispose of you

You can't re-enter my life
You'll be just a bad memory

Invictus Legend is so slept on, seriously! I love it and it LASTS on my skin. No idea why it seems so under the radar.

Victoria

Some say the sweetness is too much.

Ramone Turner

Yeah. It's bomb

@Jordan Barber Neither does Victory, but its fairly new. I dont think the Invictus line gets a lot of praise because the first one didnt impress enough people and thats crucial. There's just too much inconsistency in the line. Aqua stands out and Victory is like a powerful reboot on the other end of the spectrum, you should try it.

I kinda have the impression Invictus comes across less powerful than it is, I know its strong, sweet and long lasting but whenever you spray it somewhere on skin or fabric the smell doesn't come across punching and intense, the aquatic sweetness doesn't feel so dominant when there are bunch of other fragrances such as Le Male, Ultra Male, Le Male Le Parfum, Rasasi Hawas, Eros, Stronger With You-line and even Dylan Blue/Sauvage have a much much stronger striking aura right away.

I don't if my mind is just tricking me but yeah.

I've sampled all the Invictus flankers (except Victory), and for the love of me, I cannot understand why people call them "bubble-gummy." None of them smell like bubble gum, at all. At least, not to me. Sure, they're kinda sweet. But I REALLY don't get where people get "bubble gum" from.

@Jonathan G those are two fragrances I've been meaning to check out for a while now. Been thinking of blind binding them 🤣

Jonathan G

Oddly enough the only one that smells exactly like bubble gum in the opening to me is victory hahaha. Like 100% bubblegum

In the drydown it smells almost identical to Mercedes Benz Club Black to me.

My favorite is legend. I get a more aquatic and tropical version with a little bit of an herbal feel from the bay leaf. Nice amber into the dry down. Projects and performs its def underrated
