Andy created Ironlight River in late 2005/early 2006 after moving to the coast to regroup after the break-up of his previous band, and to hopefully begin a new chapter.
What began as a series of demos where he would play and multi-track all the instruments, quickly built into a catalog which begun to be released as EP's through two independent labels in the US.
The trilogy - 'Earthlights', 'Boneyeards' and 'Winterseen' were all well received and have since sold out, although they may find there way to a digital re-issue at some point in the future..
After the third EP in the series, 2008 became all about recording the debut album. Most of the first half of the year was dedicated to talking with producers and writing and demoing a pile of music that would be whittled down to the final 10 songs of South December. In a busy year, a short hiatus between the end of these demo sessions and the beginning of the actual recording, brought about the writing and recording of The Calendar Round LP, and a three track single (Benzene) which includes a cover of the Jesse Sykes song, 'Your Eyes Told;.
The decision was taken to self produce South December, and it was finally recorded through late winter of 08/09 and completed in February.
Both this record and The Calendar Round are lined up for a Midsummer release with live dates to follow.

Introspective Lifeworks
Welcome to where I grew up 😊 you actually were standing in my grandparents house in the beginning of the video and you are braver than me in doing so. Elsie and her late husband Rudy bought the tavern from my grandparents way back in the 70’s. I left as Elsie said not much to hold young people there and while I still reside in Nebraska it is a much more populated place. I am also a YouTuber but I am very busy and it is more of a place to share the paranormal and interests for Starseeds and everything metaphysical. I have been told the name Monowi is Ponca Indian meaning flowers in the hill it’s interesting but I have never validated it. To overcome loneliness I have this thought to share with you “when you arrived in this place you did it alone and when you leave you will also do it alone but truly we are never really alone because the unseen to our conscious mind is always by our sides helping us navigate this lifetime” … thanks for sharing your adventure and have a great life!!! ✨💜🧚♀️💜✨

Also, you did a good job putting together the video. I only live about 3 hrs from Monowi and I'd like to go see it and meet Elsie too.
