Above all, he loves jazz, singing sad songs, he especially likes cackling chickens (that are real live chickens, non crispy baked McDonald's menu). He likes to compose on the piano, altough it stands in room of both sisters.
Isak first came to public attention by taking part in X Factor, Sweden, 2012. According to viewers' choice poll for performances, he finished 3rd after passing through ten rounds in Swedish TV4.
For opening performance at the ten-week TV series X Factor, he chose a song by Gotye 'Somebody That I Used To Know', the finale was provided by David Guetta's 'Titanium'.
In 2013 Isak has requested to enter into the promotion event 'Teen Hoot' in London. Teen Hoot UK act as global stage for the best up and coming teen artists around the globe, a small initial step on the career ladder. Teen Hoot was founded in Nashville, TN, USA.
On November 30, 2013 his time had come, Isak took Teen Hoot's stage by storm in front of an enthusiastic audience in London, and became public favourite straightaway. He performed 'Domino' (Jessie J), 'Wrecking Ball' (Miley Cyrus), just like 'Say Something' from A Great Big World featuring Christina Aguilera.
Since his first public appearance two years have passed (an eternity in adolescence). But 72 hours after New Year's Eve, on January 3, 2014, his debut single 'Long Live This Love' was out! And - straightaway - the second single 'Say Something' followed close behind, both released by Record Company TEN, Sony Music Entertainment Sweden AB.
Almost on the same day, he released one year later, on January 13, 2015, the single 'Falling Into You', followed on the heels of his debut EP 'Volume One' on March 26, 2015.
Single 'Remember' out September 1, 2016.
Isak announces next album 'Volume Two'.
Isak does not allow himself to rest for a moment, he works tirelessly for new songs. So he even released 2 singles in June 2017, first 'Jennie' on June 8, shortly followed by the next 'I Don't See You' on June 29.
In April 2017, Danielson's track "Ending" was featured in a choreography video posted by Maddie Ziegler and in September 2017 the song was also featured on American program So You Think You Can Dance and again in the American television series Cloak & Dagger. These events saw an increase in his streaming numbers around the world.
In April 2018, Danielson released "Broken", the lead single from his forthcoming debut studio album. Danielson said was inspired by a friend who had experienced a number of sexual assaults.
In July 2018, Danielson released "Always", which was followed by "I'll Be Waiting" in September and "I'm Falling in Love" in October. On 19 October 2018, Danielson released his debut studio album Yours. Yours peaked at number 27 on the Swedish charts.
In January 2019, Danielson released "Power" which was followed by "Bleed Out" on 5 March. Both tracks were the lead singles from his third EP, titled Run to You, which was released on 29 March 2019.
In September 2019, Danielson released "Silence", his first on new IOD label, after signing with Universal Music Group.
In April 2020, Danielson released his second studio album, Remember to Remember Me. The album title is a message to the listener to follow along on his personal journey, where no topic is too delicate to explore. In the songs "Light Up", "Silence" and "Religion", Danielson reflects on his own relationship with anxiety and his message that no one should ever feel alone in their struggle with anxiety.
Per Magnusson from Aftonbladet gave the album 3 out of 5 saying "Isak Danielson makes pop music so emotional and sad that it almost forgets to breathe" and that "he sings well beyond his age".

Somebody That I Used to Know
Isak Danielson Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Like resignation to the end, allways the end
So when we found that we could not make sense
Well you said that we could still be friends
But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over
But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like like it never happened and that we were nothing
But you treated me lika a stranger and it feels so rough
No you din't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your record and then changes you number
I guess that don't need that thought
Now you're just somebody that I used to know
But I don't wanna live that way, reading into every word you say
You sad that you could let it go
And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that I used to know
You didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were noting
I don't even need yore love
Cause now you're just somebody that I used to know
Now you're just somebode that I used to know
The lyrics to Isak Danielson's song "Somebody That I Used to Know" depict the hardships of a failed relationship and the bitterness that one feels when the love is over. The opening line "You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness" shows the numbness someone can feel after experiencing heartbreak repeatedly. It's almost as if they are used to feeling sad and depressed, and they begin to crave it because it's the only familiar emotion they know. The chorus of "But you didn't have to cut me off" shows how one partner can abruptly end the relationship without any communication or closure. It leaves the other person feeling confused and frustrated because they never got a chance to obtain closure. The lyric "no you didn't have to stoop so low" shows how the relationship ended on a sour note, with one individual doing something that was uncalled for and inconsiderate.
The lyrics also show how one person can still hold on to the past while the other moves on with their life. The lines "But I don't wanna live that way, reading into every word you say" shows how one person is holding on to hopes of reconciliation while the other has moved on. This can lead to further frustration because the person holding on to the past is analyzing every aspect of the other person's life and trying to interpret if they still have feelings for them.
Overall, the song captures the intense emotions that come with heartbreak and how one individual can hold on to the past while the other moves on with their life.

why do i listen to this and hear a man in doubt about 2 women? the verse one he use "she" .
"She keeps me from closing my eyes
Keeps me from sleeping at night
Don't let me go"
I'm imagining that its the woman he cheated with keep him awake, that he keep thinking about her. and how she wishes he will never let her go.
that might be the reason why the pre-chorus change to "you" meaning his official partner.
"There came a time
When you were the only one
You were the only one
The only one"
how they try to make the relationship work, how his official partner still believe in him and still trying to hold on. doesn't matter he keep cheating and falling for the other woman.
'Even when I'm falling back
You still bеlieve I tried'
that's where he suggest may be they could live like this, with him going back and forth between 2 woman? that by the end he might finally know how to juggling between them
'Maybe we could be a symphony
And maybe I could learn to play
You could write that story
While I just ride the wave (this could mean he took advantage of the current situation)'
even more on this part, when the other woman want to end this, its him who trying to hold on. that he want to make sure she is fine.
'We're at the end of the line
She keeps me from holding her tight
Trying to make sure she's fine
Don't let me go'
and by that, his official relationship stumbled down again and crushing like all the effort now useless. that finally his official partner now want to end this, that finally she stop waiting for him to decide and want him to let her go.
'We took hundred steps back
How you said "goodbye" was sad
Now when I think of it I...
Please let me go''

It’s a very deep song. That has a powerful message and clearly means something in today’s society. It’s an empowering song, not just in general but for women in violent places in their life. To hear a male artist write and perform such an inspiring sing could genuinely change a lot of lives.
