Cool Water
Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan Lyrics
Cool water
Won’t bring you down
Lord it’s hard
My back yard
Is full of hand me downs
Make your pick
Take it quick
While the going’s good
And you are
Thank the stars
Cool water
You’re out of grace
Take a cloth
Wipe it off
The egg that’s on your face
Take this thing
That we sing
Make it something good
Say you care
If you dare
And I knew you would
And I knew you would
Cool water
Won’t bring you down
Lover swim
Jump right in
You’re my favourite clown
On demand
My right hand
And we’re chained and bound
Feels so good
Like it should
Let me bring you round
Let me bring you round
Let me bring you round
Let me bring you round
