The lyrics of Iuno's song Vertigo are expressive and introspective. The lines "Falling, falling, God I fear falling, like no one else, like nothing I know" describe this feeling of falling that consumes the persona. It is an intense fear that is personal and unique, and perhaps even overwhelming. Then, the lyrics make a clever turn with the line "fear of falling is the fear of flying."
