The lyrics of J-Friends' song "I Will Get There" express determination and hope in the face of challenges and obstacles. The first verse talks about our hearts wandering in the middle of the night, searching for direction and purpose. The line "kibou no beru ga kikoeru kai?" (can you hear the bell of hope?) suggests that even in our darkest moments, we can still hear the faint sound of possibility and the promise of a better future.
The chorus is a declaration of the singer's resolve to overcome any obstacle and reach their goals. "I will get there" is repeated twice, with the second time followed by "itsuka" (someday) to emphasize that the journey might be long and difficult, but they will eventually get there. The imagery of "me wo samashi asahi wo abite" (open your eyes and bask in the morning sun) and "yuki no you ni sekaijuu ni furitsumore" (fall like snow all over the world) suggests a sense of renewed energy and optimism.
The second verse contrasts joy and pain, and how both are necessary parts of our journey. The line "tsuyokunai kimi e yuuki wo okurou" (I'll send you courage, even if you're not strong) acknowledges the struggles we all face at times, and how we can help each other overcome them. The third verse looks to the future, with the line "tsugi no mirai e to hikari ga sashiteru yo" (the light is shining towards the next future) suggesting a sense of anticipation and excitement for what's to come.
Overall, "I Will Get There" is an uplifting and empowering song that encourages us to never give up on our dreams and to keep moving forward, even when the path is uncertain or difficult.
