J.A.M is a side project of members of the Japanese Jazz band SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS. Josei (Piano & Keys), Akita Goldman (Bass), and Midorin (Drums) from Soil & Pimp perform as a piano trio and play compositions by band leader Josei, which are more laid-back and melodic than their regular Soil & Pimp "Death Jazz" sound. Their debut album is "Just A Maestro".

The lyrics of J.A.M's song MINT seem to be portraying the idea of living life to the fullest despite the negativity and challenges that may come one's way. The opening lines " Они точно ни о чем, Не переживай мы умножим своё" which translate to "They are definitely about nothing, don't worry we'll multiply our own" seem to indicate that the artist(s) is/are confident and determined to succeed regardless of what others may think or say. The reference to "молодых головах" or "young minds" implies that this determination and the effort required to achieve success may be difficult, especially for the youth.
