Thoughts
J.O.E. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Hold up no, no, hold up, baby no
I might just kill myself if I do not kill these thoughts
I realized I might be the problem after all
I need to stop thinking it’s okay for all my friends to come and go
Think it’s easy for me, what a joke
I’m all alone you know, I don’t fuck with random hoes
I’m all alone I know, everyone gon’ walk out on me soon enough
Gon’ put the blame on them, I never blame myself
Said fuck the games, I need to ball
Said no new friends, I lost them all
Can’t take this weight, I paved the way
I just got saved, I still don’t pray
I still don’t pray

All those hoes looked at me funny, I got money now they want me
It’s a new year, I got new taste
I can cop a fucking Mazi, put your hoe in some Versace
Two designer watches now I’m two faced
Look at your son, a fucking star
Got too much sauce you might miss my bars
You missed my life but who’s to blame?
This money lies, I’d do the same

Lost my mind today
I’m just sipping all this pain away

I think I might shoot my face today
It’s not a phase, no it won’t go away

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of J.O.E.'s song "Thoughts" convey the inner struggles of someone who is having a hard time dealing with recurring thoughts. The first verse reveals the singer's battle to rid themselves of these thoughts, which seem to be plaguing them constantly. Despite having their significant other by their side, they are unable to shake off these thoughts. In the second verse, it is hinted that the significant other is involved with someone else, causing the singer to feel replaced and left out. This only exacerbates their inner turmoil.

The repetition of the chorus emphasizes the singer's frustration and inability to escape their thoughts, as well as their envy towards their partner's new love. The song's melancholy tone and simple production only add to its raw emotional power, evoking a sense of loneliness and hopelessness.

The fact that this conversation (and the topic of aliens/ufos in general) is being discussed seriously, is exciting, scary, intriguing and amazing all at the same time.

@elsol1176

How does it and or how has it affected you?

@Rainbow-eb1vc

It's about time!

How many things do you discuss that have no affect on your life? You don’t think it’s interesting anyway?

@elsol1176

@@roems6396 nope this is different. This is exactly like discussing when Jesus will return.

If you're not a believer you think.........how can this many people think this trash is real. If you are a believer you're just gonna go another day, month, year, life time disappointed that he ain't coming.

This alien trash is not interesting to me, I'm here to see how humans act and man it's a good show.

My grandmother told me her UFO story when I was 7 (now 35) from the early 70s. Her account of its shape, speed, movement patterns, lighting capabilities, and almost instant disappearance is exactly the same description given by pilots and other credible witnesses in 2023.

She is now in her late 90s and can retell the story perfectly. She doesn’t watch popular TV and dropped out of school in the 8th grade to help around the home.

My neighbour in his 60’s used to be a jet pilot for the military in Norway. One time on a test run with two other planes, a objekt flew right past them, stopped before them, then flew away in a blink of an eye. He said the maneuvers and speed of the plain was way to fast, and had to be aliens. They reported it to their officer, then was sent to some Even higher ups and was asked to sign a waiver to never talk about it. Luckily for me the guy loves to drink and if you dig enough while he drunk, he will tell you about it. When he’s sober he acts like it never. happened
