Sparse (sometimes stylized as J.Sparse and also known as Jourdan Sparse, and Sparse), is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, model, and entrepreneur. At age 11 he moved to Las Vegas with his mom and two brothers where he began to model and act. After modeling for clothing lines such as Akademiks and Phat Farm and attending numerous auditions, J. Sparse turned down his invite to The International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) and began taking his interest in writing to the next level. He began to write short stories and songs and upon reaching his senior year in high school he formed the music duo "New Test" with $pad3s and made over 8 songs including the release of the Nothing Less - EP, but due to disagreements and different career goals he disbanded from his partner. He began his solo career with the release of his first mixtape entitled "Hats Off" and by forming musical collective "CleanSweep." He is currently the head of the music duo "C$B" consisting of $pad3s and himself. His second solo mixtape is scheduled to be released sometime in 2012 as well as his second mixtape with C$B.
