JOANPi is a Greece-based musician, songwriter, producer remixer & an alumna of IVT AKMI (Athens) in Music & Technology. She has released singles & EPs with distribution partner TuneCore including 'Midnight' & 'A Day at the Beach'. This song has taken awards at international songwriting contests: Monthly Winner (Electronic/Dance category) at Song of the Year 2007, Honorable Mention Winner (Instrumental any style category) at Unisong 2006/07, Semi-Finalist (Instrumental category) at UK Songwriting Contest 2007. 'Midnight' was featured as 'Electronic Song of Day' on Garageband Records (iLike) in 2008 & one of featured songs for Microsoft campaign & Reverbnation Sponsored Songs Program in 2009. Her music has been featured on the musicfeed.com, Harsh.tv, Electroshow Podcast: The Electro Show Indie Artist (Dec '11) & various papers (paper.li). Since 2012 JOANPi has worked on production remixes for official acts via platforms (Indaba Music, Talenthouse, Beatport) or directly. In Fall '13 a minor accident led her to take a quick hiatus, still she started extending her music studies. Currently she's back on action, making/producing music including an international production release to be announced soon.
