He began to dance around

Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be

According to the children, he had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playtime.

The children were delighted to watch Frosty move around.

Down to the village with a broomstick in his hand

Running here and there, all around the square
He ran around the village square and had fun.

Frosty invited the children to catch him if they could.

He led them down the streets of town
Frosty led the children down the town's streets.

Right to the traffic cop
Their path led them to a traffic cop.

And he only paused a moment
Frosty stopped for a moment.

When he heard him holler, "stop"
The traffic cop suddenly shouted to stop.

Hey, Frosty the snowman had to hurry on his way
It was time for Frosty to leave.

But he waved goodbye, sayin', "don't you cry
However, he said goodbye and reassured them not to cry.

I'll be back again someday"
He promised that he would return someday.

He'll be back, yes he will, again someday
Frosty would keep his promise to come back.
