We recognize and acknowledge the purity and greatness of God with our hearts, minds, and voices.

Lord God Almighty
We address the one and only God who holds all power over everything and everyone.

Early in the morning
We start our day by giving a prayer of praise to God.

Our song shall rise to Thee
We exalt our voices in singing a song to God as a form of worship.

Merciful and mighty
We recognize God's compassion and power through his mercies that he gives to us.

God in three persons
We believe that God is made up of three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Blessed Trinity
We give honor to the Holy Trinity, and acknowledge it as a sacred and holy union.

All the saints adore Thee
We acknowledge that all of God's people worship and praise Him.

Casting down their golden crowns
The saints present everything that they have to offer and lay them down before God as a sign of their respect and love for Him.

Around the glassy sea
Heaven is described as being surrounded by a sea of glass, which was clear and pure.

Cherubim and seraphim
These are special types of angels that are closest to God and are described as worshipping and praising Him unceasingly.

Falling down before Thee
The angels show their respect for God by prostrating and lying face down before Him.

Which wert and art
We recognize God's divine presence both in the past and in the present.

And evermore shalt be
We believe that God's existence and power will always be eternal and unchanging.

Though the darkness hide Thee
We admit that human vision and intellect can be limited, and that we are not always able to see and understand God clearly.

Though the eye of sinful man
We acknowledge that our own sins can often obscure our view of God and cloud our understanding of His character.

Thy glory may not see
We may not always be able to perceive or witness God's glory for various reasons including our sinful nature.

Only Thou art holy
We recognize that God is the only one who is completely pure and free from sin.

There is none beside Thee
We acknowledge that no other being, human or divine, can compare to God's greatness or power.

Perfect in power
We recognize God's complete and flawless control over everything in existence.

In love and purity
We recognize God's unwavering love and holiness.

All Thy works shall praise Thy name
Everything that has been created by God shows His greatness and is a means to glorify Him.

In earth and sky and sea
All of creation, both on earth and under the sea, is designed to give glory to God.

The whole earth is full of his glory
All of creation is a manifestation of God's glory and a constant reminder of its infinite nature.
