Jake,24, began to sing when he was just 7 . Fast he became part of a small band belonging to a music school. With his colleagues he toured the entire country, entered festivals and competitions and by the age of 14 he already had a first studio album recorded in his country. His passion for music never died although as most teenagers do, at a certain point he focused more on having fun and just being a kid than building himself a career. All that changed when he started to work in a romanian radio station, in his home town. That's how he learned the secrets of studio work, recording , production and vocal arranging.In 2006 he moved to Madrid and it didn't take him long to realize he wanted to keep on making music. That's how he met Ryk.
When Jake and Ryk got together to talk business they both knew what they wanted . They were determined to make music they both liked and they knew they had to do it themselves.
Soon they realized they shared a passion for r&b and hip hop and they took it as a sign that together they could accomplish a lot.
After months of work, the result have started to show.The first released song was "IF U LET ME" a song they wrote, recorded and produced themselves having Preston as the beat-maker.The chemistry was obviously perfect between the two.
The duo didn't stop at just one song. Together they set up their studio,website, internet spaces and finally managed to get air play on national radio, Maxima Fm being the first station to air IF U LET ME and LOSE CONTROL their second release.
Ryk and Jake say they have many other songs prepared, and the titles appear on the duo's website, but the songs have not been released yet.There is talk about collaborations with international singers,the release of an EP and a music video, but most of the things are not completely confirmed so RYk and Jake prefer not to give too many details about anything.The people that are in contact with the duo through their website will be the first to find out all the news about this project.
Ryk and Jake say they have no intention whatsoever to give up or quit no matter how difficult it is for 2 people to do everything a label normally does for a band. They are convinced that the hard work will pay out sooner or later.
