James Blunt Lyrics

Just watching her slaughter them
See you all go wild
I've been dipping in my finger
Testing out the water
See you on the other side
And she's all dressed up and knocking at my door, whoa
She is dangerous, she is dangerous, I know, whoa
But she's got my heart and she's never letting go
I'll be hanging on your heartache
Enough rope for my sake and losing every time
I'll be wrapped around your finger,
Let the moment linger then
See you on the other side
She is dangerous, she is dangerous, I'm sure, oh
And she's all dressed up and knocking at my door, whoa
She is dangerous, she is dangerous, I know, whoa
But she's got my heart and she's never letting go
And we all get a taste for blood tonight
'Cause we've all had a taste of love
And we all get a taste for blood tonight
For love
She is dangerous, she is dangerous, I'm sure, whoa
And she's all dressed up and knocking at my door, whoa
She is dangerous, she is dangerous, I know, whoa
But she's got my heart and she's never letting go
She is dangerous, she is dangerous, I'm sure, whoa
And she's all dressed up and knocking at my door, whoa
She is dangerous, she is dangerous, I know, whoa
But she's got my heart and she's never letting go
The song "Dangerous" by James Blunt tells the story of a man who is clearly infatuated with a woman who is dangerous to him. He watches from a corner as she flirts with other men at a party, fascinated by her power over them. He can’t resist her allure and feels a strong attraction towards her.
The lyrics describe the man losing himself in the woman’s dangerous seduction, always ending up with a broken heart. Despite seeing the danger in her, he is pulled towards her like a moth to a flame, unable to resist her charm. He acknowledges that he will always fall for her, even though he can see the outcome of the situation.
The theme of the song explores the pull of danger and the allure of temptation, even when it leads to heartache. The lyrics reveal the primal instincts that drive our actions, even when we know that the consequences will be less than desirable.
