J H I agree, am straight so maybe my opinion means little here. But, I feel we need to be loved for all that we are and accepted and respected as such. To pretend your the assumption to the common, is self punishing. You don’t meet ppl and introduce yourself as this or that. But, as one lives their life they should be free to be themselves, not be shamed for it. We must be open minded for things we don’t understand not shun them. From religion to our job we should not be punished for who we are. We must celebrate and support one another. In history we are in a unique times for gay ppl. We also need positive role models to see our choices in a good light and form our value system to honour, respect and cherish one another. I feel for young ppl who come to the realization and feel them must conform to unrealistic norms is disasters for everyone one involved. Free to be you and me can be achieved by being honest with self and others. Once we as a society can get over this, the sooner life will be richer for everyone. In Russia its illegal to be gay, that is horrible. The secrets that their culture must manoeuvre, work around must be mind boggling. I love for it to be a point in the whole world, when it doesn’t matter yet free to be ourselves. We are not dirty or ugly when we are different, this must be achieved and that process at present are still difficult. I hope I explained myself correctly. Life is complicated without sexual orientation to be an added problem.

Only perverts want to know if someone is gay or not and only perverts need to tell the world if they're gay. I thought sexuality was supposed to be a private matter. It doesn't bother me one bit to be around gay people. There are quite a few at work and they are awesome folks but, if I see PDA between them, I'll be grossed out. In the past and even up to 20 years ago it might have had a bad effect on their being picked for movies etc because the way the world was. Since then and especially now it is more likely to be a bonus and help get roles with the way the LGBTQ narrative has been pushed. Though obviously before making this comment I researched when this video was posted versus when Elliott page came out and let everyone know that he was going to live his authentic life and transition, that was in December of the same year this was posted and this was posted in May. But, I definitely would appreciate at least correcting the name or adding a disclaimer or even omitting Elliott's section in this video all together.
I just feel like that would be the respectful thing to do. It's not a demand nor am I upset. I would be upset if this was posted after he had transitioned but like I said, before I wrote anything down I looked to see when he made the announcement versus when this was posted.

I knew a trainer that was around John Travolta and said many years ago that he is definitely gay. She said he was one of the absolute nicest guys too, easily one of her favorites of all the actors/actresses she'd met. She said Sean Connery was super sweet, as well!

My experience in the entertainment industry was the opposite. They kept trying to FORCE me to be lesbian...or convince the public I was an androgynous transgender. I'm 100% female. 100% heterosexual but was raised in the community and support pure souls who fight for justice. Love is Love. It has no color, sexual orientation, or bias. I was always treated like the odd one because everyone was gay or fluid...and I was "regular".
The Amazing gay artist, #Cazwell, had to add a disclaimer in a Paper Magazine article letting people know I am a fully natural born biological female because there was so much propaganda around my identity.
It's a backwards world. Be yourself. Don't let ANYTHING break your spirit or your heart that is not worth it 100 years from now.

It depends on what level you are on, the company with the most invested into you...how each one runs things behind the scenes...and agendas. I love John Travolta and literally everything he has starred in. I couldn't care less what his PERSONAL sexual preferences are. He and his wife have been through so much pain, It would be great just to see them both(separately) finally happy again. Another one, Tom Cruise, I heard from my gay friend who is also in that world what he would do focus in on a guy on the sets and have him sent to his trailer and the guy would never leaving the way he walked in. It got to be so well known, the guys would ignore the request and a woman would be sent and no further headaches.
