1)Jamieson born Gordon Jamieson Jr. is a London born and bred rapper, writer and producer.
2)An USA soul singer songer-writer
1)For Jamieson growing up in Kilburn, a multicultural London district, with his Colombian Mother and Scottish Father has been beneficial for him not only as a person but also as a musician. His exposure to so many different cultures growing up introduced him to various musical genres, influenced by everyone from Cypress Hill, WuTang, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Rod Stewart to Salsa group Los Hermanos Lebron, Nina Simone and some of his own peers currently on the rise.
He first stepped into the world of music as a producer at the age of 15, a move that was more recreational than career oriented at the time. Unfortunately he struggled to get artists into the studio to rhyme over his beats, so instead of wasting his time he decided to try rhyming over his own beats. After a couple of years, around the age of 18 he and his peers began to notice his talent, ultimately beginning his transition from producer to rapper.
Jamieson formerly known as “Killagram” began actively pursuing his career as a rapper at the age of 21, when he began rhyming with long time friend K.I.N.E.T.I.K as rap duo “Twisted Thoughts”. While he held regular day jobs which included a desk job at a local hotel and a teaching position at a local school in the evenings to non-English speakers, his music was always his main priority. He performed several nights a week as a part of “Twisted Thoughts,” and they gradually made their way through the UK’s underground Hip Hop scene, eventually leading them to perform at what could be compared to the Hip Hop version of American Idol in the UK.
Jamieson did well for himself in the UK, but always felt his opportunities were limited because there really wasn’t a “lane” for his kind of Hip Hop, which was different than the style of Hip Hop popular in the UK called “Grime”. Jamieson always believed success in London would only take him so far, but making it in New York could mean an even greater level of success.
In 2005 New York City finally became a definite possibility when Jamieson was offered an opportunity to intern at a well known record label in the city. While apprehensive at first, the final push towards New York came after he spotted a British Airways Ad for flights from London to New York on his way back from a job interview. He took the Ad as a sign, booked his flight two days later, and arrived in New York one month after that. For the first year Jamieson stayed in near by New Jersey before finally settling in the projects of the South Bronx, which he’s called home for the past couple of years. The internship which got him a foot in the door eventually became a full time gig and his personality, hard work and talent have helped him survive and work his way within the industry.
In 2007 Jamieson released his first mix tape entitled “The Foreign Exchange,” hosted by G-Unit’s own DJ Whoo Kid. After that he took some time to focus on what would be his next project entitled “I Came, I Saw Vol. I-III”. This most recent project is a trilogy of EPs, through which he tells the story of his time since being here in the US. The first volume released in July 2010 was hosted by the popular music website DJBooth.net, and the second and third volumes are slated for release in early 2011.
Jamieson has already caught the attention of several industry heavy weights, among them Universal Music Group’s CEO Doug Morris, founder of Loud Records and SRC Steve Rifkind, RZA, Yelawolf and B Real of Cypress Hill. He has opened up for artist such as Cappadonna (WuTang), Akon, Ray J, Shontelle, Melanie Fiona, Asher Roth and Flo Rida. He has also worked with artist such as Joell Ortiz, Sean Price, Skyzoo, Emilio Rojas, and Sony recording artist Samuel.
Jamieson has received a great deal of support thus far and continues to be featured on several major websites and Hip Hop blogs in the US and abroad which include XXLmag.com, Thisis50.com, Hiphopdx.com, 2dopeboyz.com, OnSmash.com, TheHipHopChronicle.com, Hip-HopKings.com, Nahright.com and Grime daily. Jamieson is determined to make his mark, and his commitment and hard work are already paying off, this is definitely only the beginning for this London storyteller.
2)Funky and soulful, Jamieson uses his favorite musical inspirations like Soul, Doo-Wop, Jazz and Bluegrass.

{Jameson}
Back once again still ten outa ten, still making em' em still jameson, as i

{Angel Blu}
I know whats being said but theres no regret form this, lets make
arrangements for an appointment in my head!
We act so shallow but the situations deep! Momentary pleasure got me
feeling long time weak!
(Bridge)
True side by side lay on your back flat like domino, we can roll our dice
drip like ice, Melt! I can make you fall up and down like snakes and
ladders uh uh! Tell all ya friends, tell all ya friends i've had ya!
(Chorus)
I'm feeling you so whats it gonna be? I need honnesty tell me what you
need. Can you be true? Or be that as it may chase the clouds away each
and every day!
(Just you and i, just you and i, just you and i, its true!)
{Angel Blu}
Beats and motions say it all but you still don't call! it's distance
inside the ball so we can do it all no! But could you handle it? But could
you manage it? I want it all so make it unforgetable!
(Bridge)
True side by side lay on your back flat like domino, we can roll our dice
drip like ice, Melt! I can make you fall up and down like snakes and
ladders uh uh! Tell all ya friends, tell all ya friends i've had ya!

The lyrics to Jamieson's song True feature two vocalists, Jameson and Angel Blu, exploring the themes of love, honesty, and the fear of being hurt. Jameson begins by introducing himself as an experienced artist, in control of his music, and producing a track with Angel Blu. Angel Blu then sings about making arrangements for an appointment in her head, hinting at a desire for a deeper connection than just physical pleasure. She discusses how moments of pleasure can leave one feeling weak, and that the situation is deeper than what it appears to be. Angel Blu then explains that true connection goes beyond physical pleasure, making references to "snakes and ladders" and "drip like ice, melt." She wants honesty and asks if her lover can be true, or if they will just chase clouds away to make the moment pass.
Jameson joins in towards the end, hyping up the atmosphere and delivering a powerful lyricism that complements Angel Blu's vocals. All in all, the song explores the tension between the need for physical pleasure and the desire for a deeper and authentic connection. The artists suggest that true fulfilment comes from honesty and openness, and that we should not be afraid of being hurt for the sake of experiencing real love.
