Trying to find a way

When we are trying to be inspirational, it usually means we have some issues.

At least I fessed up

I couldn't sleep last night
Last night, I was unable to sleep.

So I got out of bed

And then I realized
At that moment, I suddenly understood something.

Here I am so little
I am insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

What does it really matter
What really matters in life?

All of these thoughts in my head.

Breathe in slow
Take a deep breath in, slowly.

Roll my shoulders
Relax my shoulders.

Know
I understand and realize.

That with my eyes closed I could be anywhere that I wanna go
I can imagine myself being anywhere I want, with my eyes closed.

And it would be the same with my eyes shut
It would feel the same as if I was actually there, even with my eyes closed.

I thought if I achieved enough that I would find my peace
I used to believe that if I accomplished certain things, it would bring me inner peace.

But even if I could
But even if I did achieve all that, it still wouldn't be enough.

I'd have gave it up for nothing good
I would have given up so much for something that might not have even been good for me.

Mind on those who made me and the gifts that life gave to me
I am grateful for the people who have made me who I am, and for the gifts that life has given me.

I'm feeling good
I am feeling well, content, and happy.

Looking out the window feeling things I never thought I could
I feel things that I never thought were possible, looking outside my window.

Let it go with me baby
Let go of all the worries and let us just be.

In this moment we are everything
In this moment, we have everything that we need.
