Moonlight
Jaron Utt Lyrics

Never had fulfillment when I wander
Hello who I once was, tell me who I once was
Never gone without you once and been fine
I don't see a different turnout tonight
I don't think my mind's right, tell me if my mind's right
But they won't dry my crying eyes
When everything comes falling to the ground
And everything that isn't you
Will run from me in fancy shoes
And I'll be left with nothing on the ground
So I'll just go with you
Never held my own in a fist fight
I don't see a different turn out tonight
Camera flash at midnight, tell me if my mind's right
All these things will break and dry
But they won't dry my crying eyes
When everything comes falling to the ground
And everything that isn't you
Will run from me in fancy shoes
And I'll be left with nothing on the ground
All these things will break and dry
But they won't dry my crying eyes
When everything comes falling to the ground
And everything that isn't you
Will run from me in fancy shoes
And I'll be left with nothing on the ground
So I'll just go with you
I'll just go with you
I'll just go with you instead
The song "Moonlight" by Jaron Utt is an emotional and introspective track that explores the theme of loss and the longing for a lost love. The opening lines "Never seen the moonlight hit the water, Never had fulfillment when I wander" sets the tone for the song, highlighting the emptiness and lack of fulfillment that the singer experiences in his life without his love. He then reflects on his past self, wondering who he was before he lost his love and if he can ever go back to being that person again.
As the song progresses, the singer laments the loss of his love and how everything else in his life seems meaningless without her. He realizes that all the material things and fancy shoes in the world cannot replace the love that he has lost. And in the end, he accepts that he has nothing left but his love for her and decides to follow her wherever she goes.
The lyrics of "Moonlight" are deeply personal and relatable, and the haunting melody of the song adds to its emotional impact. It captures the pain of losing someone you love and the struggle to move on with your life.

So proud of my amazing wife and family! Not enough people get to witness the joy that the steelpan brings to the world. I was gleaming while watching my wife speak so eloquently and my children playing so masterfully, all on pans that my father in law built. I wish the sound on this video truly captured how magical it sounded that night at the Roxian Theatre, it’s one of the reasons why they got a standing ovation.
