Getting introduced to the drums at a young age gave Jarreau a different view on how music is made. His Grandfather (also a music producer) introduced him to the music production program Logic at just aged 16. Since then Jarreau was hooked and has never stopped producing ever since.
After becoming part of the Amsterdam based clubnight focused on new electronics “Wavefiles” as a resident DJ and promoter, Jarreau met a lot of great artists he admired. One of them ‘IAMNOBODI’ whom, after hearing his tracks and remixes, introduces him to Joe Kay one of the founders of the L.A. based label “Soulection” where he brought out his first ep called “the Jarreau Vandal white label”
“You can’t stick Jarreau’s sound to a genre it’s a perfect blend of all genres he’s into.” “His sound can go any direction without losing his own touch.” Jarreau Vandal is an artist who puts his good energy into his music so that you, the listener can feel good.

The lyrics to Jarreau Vandal's song Small Talk describe the singer's infatuation with a woman who captivates him with her physical attributes and charisma. The singer refers to his crush as "lil mama" and notes that she leaves him at a loss for words. The woman is popular and attracts attention from others, but she doesn't need to engage in small talk to make an impression. Instead, she conveys her charm through her movements, dancing, and eye contact with her admirers. The singer emphasizes his connection to the woman when he proclaims, "That's my girl, I'm her guy," suggesting that he hopes to pursue a romantic relationship with her. Throughout the song, the lyrics suggest that the connection between the two is grounded in physical attraction and a shared love of dancing, rather than deep conversation or intellectual stimulation.
Overall, the lyrics to Small Talk showcase Jarreau Vandal's appreciation for physical attraction, charisma, and nonverbal communication. The song's lyrics prioritize action over words, arguing that small talk is "for the birds" and that what really matters is the ability to connect through shared experiences such as dancing. The song celebrates the thrill of infatuation and the possibility of physical chemistry, but it doesn't suggest that the relationship between the two lovers involves intellectual stimulation or deep conversation.
