It was during these intimate worship gatherings that they began to intertwine music with all forms of worship and prayer found in the Bible. They soon realized that the songs God was giving Jason were not simply songs but keys that would open and shut doors in the spirit realm. This culminated in a live worship recording entitled "Key of David." In the fall of 2001, Jason and Rachel ministered at the Call Dc, Nepal, Indonesia, India, and in cities all over the U.S. In addition they have released a new worship album on 40records entitled Faith.
On January 9, 2001 Jason and Rachel had their first child, Samuel James.
“For every revival a voice that penetrates the darkness is raised up. I’ve never heard a clearer voice to this generation nor a purer channel than Jason Upton. In my generation a Keith Green was raised up with a lions roar. The lion can be heard again in the sound and lyrics of this young prophet.” -Lou Engle (The Call)
"A poet with thunder in his voice, a musician with fire in his soul, and a worshipper with truth on his lips. This debut album signals the beginning of a new season of song that will turn back darkness and release praise in the streets. Indeed, it’s already started!" - James Ryle (Author/minister/prophet, Sons of Thunder)
"Jason Upton, what an amazing fresh voice to the body of Christ and to the world. This young man has undeniably just returned from the height of Mount Zion. He sings to the Father with an overwhelming sense of adoration. For those in the church, with ears to hear, he ignites a passion for the secret place of the most high God. To those who have grown cold in heart his voice rings with a holy haunt of the Spirit, crying out "come back home". From the first time I heard Jason Upton I knew God had raised up a voice like unto Jeremiah with the musical passions of King David. Jason's gift will be misunderstood by some, celebrated by others, it will undoubtedly anger hell & delight heaven. One thing for sure is that you won't be able to ignore what Jason is carrying for this generation... Prophetic voices will be heard." - Danny Chambers (Artist, writer, pastor)
"When you hear the passion and intensity in Jason's worship, you'll be stirred to praise Jesus as deeply and exuberantly as he does. Jason approaches God's throne with power, humility, and sincerity... and I believe he is intent on taking everyone in worshipping range along with him!" -Melody Green (author, writer, singer)
Run Baby Run
Jason Upton Lyrics

I've been watching you every day
Now I'm paying for a one way ticket
For a ship that sails the opposite way
And you laugh and you cry
And you live and you die
Cause you don't really know who you are
Orphan boy orphan girl
Cause you don't really know who you are
Run baby run
My hands release you
Baby run baby run
Just as fast as you can
Run till your legs lead your heart to the real truth
You're my daughter my son
So run baby run baby run
Hear me laughing as you run from your calling
See me crying see me crying in the storms that rage
One way or another you will be going
To obey is such an easier way
The lyrics to Jason Upton's song "Run Baby Run" describe a scene where the singer is feeling lost and unsure of their identity. The singer seems to be addressing this person, urging them to go to the city and encouraging them to run as fast as they can. There is a sense of urgency in the lyrics, as the singer believes that time is running out for this person.
The singer suggests that the person is running away from their calling and that they are living a life without purpose. However, the singer reassures them that they are loved and that they should not be afraid. The chorus "run baby run, my hands release you" can be interpreted as the singer letting go of their fears and allowing the person to live their life on their own terms.
The final verse suggests that the journey ahead will not be an easy one but that the person must obey their calling. There is a sense of inevitability in the lyrics, implying that the person must confront their fears and face the unknown.
In summary, "Run Baby Run" is a song of encouragement to those who feel lost and unsure of their purpose in life. It urges them to face their fears and follow their calling, no matter how difficult the journey may be.

Prodigal here. Thank you, Father, for welcoming us back into your open arms. So sorry I ran so far and so fast as Jesus said to me "like a stallion". Peace with God is the most precious gift. God is everywhere. How silly of us to think we can run from God. To obey is better than sacrifice. God bless everyone. Be bold. Get out of the wilderness and into your land of promise God has prepared for you. You were born for such a time as this.😊🌈
