It was during these intimate worship gatherings that they began to intertwine music with all forms of worship and prayer found in the Bible. They soon realized that the songs God was giving Jason were not simply songs but keys that would open and shut doors in the spirit realm. This culminated in a live worship recording entitled "Key of David." In the fall of 2001, Jason and Rachel ministered at the Call Dc, Nepal, Indonesia, India, and in cities all over the U.S. In addition they have released a new worship album on 40records entitled Faith.
On January 9, 2001 Jason and Rachel had their first child, Samuel James.
“For every revival a voice that penetrates the darkness is raised up. I’ve never heard a clearer voice to this generation nor a purer channel than Jason Upton. In my generation a Keith Green was raised up with a lions roar. The lion can be heard again in the sound and lyrics of this young prophet.” -Lou Engle (The Call)
"A poet with thunder in his voice, a musician with fire in his soul, and a worshipper with truth on his lips. This debut album signals the beginning of a new season of song that will turn back darkness and release praise in the streets. Indeed, it’s already started!" - James Ryle (Author/minister/prophet, Sons of Thunder)
"Jason Upton, what an amazing fresh voice to the body of Christ and to the world. This young man has undeniably just returned from the height of Mount Zion. He sings to the Father with an overwhelming sense of adoration. For those in the church, with ears to hear, he ignites a passion for the secret place of the most high God. To those who have grown cold in heart his voice rings with a holy haunt of the Spirit, crying out "come back home". From the first time I heard Jason Upton I knew God had raised up a voice like unto Jeremiah with the musical passions of King David. Jason's gift will be misunderstood by some, celebrated by others, it will undoubtedly anger hell & delight heaven. One thing for sure is that you won't be able to ignore what Jason is carrying for this generation... Prophetic voices will be heard." - Danny Chambers (Artist, writer, pastor)
"When you hear the passion and intensity in Jason's worship, you'll be stirred to praise Jesus as deeply and exuberantly as he does. Jason approaches God's throne with power, humility, and sincerity... and I believe he is intent on taking everyone in worshipping range along with him!" -Melody Green (author, writer, singer)
Whisper
Jason Upton Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I hope I'm listening to you
Let this heart of mine receive
What is full of grace and truth
Whisper whisper whisper in my ear
Tell me words I thought I'd never hear
Show me show me show me what you see
There's so much more to what we see
Sometimes I'm scared to take it in
Is that you right in front of me
Are you the stranger or the friend
Whisper whisper whisper in my ear
Tell me words I thought I'd never hear
Show me show me show me what you see
Illuminate what's right in front of me
What you whisper in my ear
Let it find room in my heart
Like a garden let your words begin to grow
When my faith is prone to fear
Remind me of your love
Remind me that you'll never let me go
I will not forget
I will not forget
All you've done for me
Whisper whisper whisper in my ear
Tell me words I thought I'd never hear
Show me show me show me what you see
Illuminate what's right in front of me
The song “Whisper” by Jason Upton speaks about the desire to hear the voice of Jesus and to receive the grace and truth that comes with it. The lyrics begin by expressing the hope of really hearing when Jesus speaks and the willingness of the heart to receive the message. The singer then requests for Jesus to whisper in their ear, to tell them words they never thought they’d hear before, and to show them what He sees. There’s a recognition that there’s so much more to what we see, which can be fearful, as we wonder if Jesus is a stranger or a friend. However, the plea remains the same, to hear His voice and see what He sees.
The verses in the song balance between expressing the longing to hear from Jesus and a trust in His love for us. We are reminded that we can be confident in His love and His word, which should find room in our hearts like a garden. The words should begin to grow and remind us of His love when we are prone to fear. The song ends with a declaration of not forgetting all that Jesus has done for us. The hope remains that we will continue to hear the voice of Jesus, receive His grace, and be reminded of His love.

keep fighting Sharon. You will make it. But fight with the Lord and let him carry your burdens. This is what he says to you "Matthew 11:28-30
New International Version
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
He loves you. Have faith as well when fighting with the Lord. He will carry you through and give you the grace, peace, endurance, strength, and REST you need. And because of your obedience, he will reward you.
