Webley tours all over the world. He usually performs solo, but occasionally plays with his long-time band mates - Michael McQuilken, Jherek Bischoff and Alex Guy.
Webley used to stage a theatrical death every Halloween, only to resurrect on May Day of the following year, but in 2005 he discontinued the tradition, claiming he did not wish to die annually again. He owns a Toyota Corrolla, which he's altered and named "The Tomato" and he organized and ran Camp Tomato in April of 2005, with friends and fans known as Tomato Scouts ( in retaliation to the comment that he was a sadistic cult leader. ) Camp Tomato has since been a more or less annual event.
Clear
Jason Webley Lyrics

You had just blown back into town
I thought you might stay away
Till it's clear
There's still this voice in my head
There's still this ghost in our bed
And there's still this song we used to play
Where are the angels now?
The feathers came drifting down
Where are the angels?
Where are the angels now?
Most of the games people play
Are fish fighting, dying, as they push their way back upstream
The water will wash the bodies away
'Till it's clear
There's still this voice in my head
There's still your ghost in my bed
And I thought I heard someone say
We won't know 'till it's over completely
Where are the angels now?
The feathers came drifting down
Where are the angels?
Where are the angels now?
The song "Clear" by Jason Webley is a haunting lament about lost love and the remnants of a past relationship. The singer hears that their former partner has returned to town but is uncertain whether they will come back into their life. There is a sense of unease and unfinished business, with the haunting refrain of "Will we know when it's over completely?" indicating a fear of never finding closure on their relationship.
As the song progresses, the singer reflects on the transience of life and the futility of many of the games that people play. They question the existence of angels and ponder their own mortality: "The water will wash the bodies away 'Till it's clear". The image of drifting feathers perhaps alludes to the idea of transience and ephemerality, as angels and love alike are fleeting.
Throughout the song, there is a sense of longing and melancholy, with a recognition that some things can never be fully resolved or understood. It is a beautiful and poignant meditation on lost love and the transient nature of life.
