Webley tours all over the world. He usually performs solo, but occasionally plays with his long-time band mates - Michael McQuilken, Jherek Bischoff and Alex Guy.
Webley used to stage a theatrical death every Halloween, only to resurrect on May Day of the following year, but in 2005 he discontinued the tradition, claiming he did not wish to die annually again. He owns a Toyota Corrolla, which he's altered and named "The Tomato" and he organized and ran Camp Tomato in April of 2005, with friends and fans known as Tomato Scouts ( in retaliation to the comment that he was a sadistic cult leader. ) Camp Tomato has since been a more or less annual event.
Postcard
Jason Webley Lyrics

Where are you?
Message in a bottle or a time bomb?
It's hard to think it matters when everything is on,
A delay line three weeks long.
This is a picture I never saw.
This is a lie I could never tell.
This is where I am, where are you?
Send me a postcard.
The lyrics of "Postcard" by Jason Webley's have been interpreted in many ways. At a glance, the song appears to be a conversation between two people who are separated by distance. The singer asks where the other person is and makes a reference to a delay line that is three weeks long, which creates a sense of temporal distance. The lyrics become more mysterious when the singer mentions a message in a bottle or a time bomb. These objects have different meanings but both suggest that something important is being communicated.
As the song progresses, the singer talks about a picture they have never seen and words they have never said. They also mention a lie they could never tell, which could be interpreted in different ways. It is possible that the singer is talking about a secret they have been keeping or a feeling they couldn't express to the other person. The chorus of the song invites the other person to send a postcard, which creates an image of a physical connection between the two people.
Overall, "Postcard" is a song that captures the feeling of being separated from someone else, whether it is due to distance or emotional barriers. It is a call for communication and an invitation to connect despite the challenges.
