Si Te Vas
Jayac Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
si te vas, que condena
decidir atormentado
por huir desesperado
si te vas no habra razon para vivir.
Si te vas que me queda
bella flor de primavera
á sol en mi camino
me ahogaré en el olvido
si te vas no habrá razón para existir.
These lyrics from Jayac's song Si Te Vas, which translates to "If You Leave," depict the singer's overwhelming distress at the prospect of their loved one leaving them. The lyrics express a sense of hopelessness, that without the presence of the loved one, life loses all meaning. The phrase "Si te vas, que me queda" or "If you leave, what's left for me" is repeated throughout the song, emphasizing the idea that the singer's world will fall apart without their lover.
The lyrics also express a sense of guilt and self-doubt within the singer, as they grapple with the decision to let their loved one leave or to try and prevent it. The line "decidir atormentado por huir desesperado" or "tormented by the decision to flee desperately" showcases the internal turmoil the singer is experiencing in regards to their relationship. They are unsure of what to do, which is causing them mental anguish.
