Debut album "Timex" in 1999 have been followed by a string of releases on labels like Staalplaat, Abisko, Xerxes, Smalltown Supersound, Utech, Bottrop-Boy and OHM Records, as well as touring and playing shows around the world. Remixed by friends on the "Rolex" CD in 2001. Live collaboration CD with Merzbow later the same year. Have done music for theatre and dance performances. Visited and worked in Singapore during the SARS-crisis in spring 2003, but survived. Co-produced Maja Ratkje's "Voice" album in 2002, which was awarded with a price at the Prix Ars Electronica in 2003. Slightly altered their name to Jazkamer in 2004, to get rid of the jazz. In 2005 released their complete tour of Japan in a deluxe cassette box set.

Yes That is what's happening but when you look at the pics, your brain does something to match your vision. Don't listen for the word bill over and over, if you think of the word mayo and pail then it'll sound like it.

The point is that the more you listen to it, the more it begins to sound like something else, despite the fact that the sound hasn't changed. But as the visuals change, what you think you're hearing seems to change as well. In short, the McGurk effect. As Vsauce mentioned in his comment.

the sound actually does change from bill to mayo from time to time. Try with your eyes closed.. it is not always the same sound.

Actually you can hear whatever you want, if you "set yourself" on Bill you will hear Bill all the time, if you will prepare for mayo you will hear mayo all the time.

well, your mind should be "confused" by the images so that at first you hear bill as there are bill images but as the video goes on, the bale images should make you hear bale then pail then mayo. The sound is always the same but you "hear" different words(because of the images) although its the same word over and over again.

How come you guys hear “mayo”? I can understand bill / pill / bale / pale / pail confusion because they sound similar and even rhyme but “mayo” is pronounced completely different. (I’m not a native speaker)
