This album has been part of my life since I bought it in the early '70 and it still is one of my favorites. Mr. Shurtleff's voice has a soothing warmth which touched my heart instantly. Such a pity he decided that the music-scene was not fot him. But at least he left this pearl for us to enjoy. The musicians were the cream of the the crop of country music and most of them also played on the recordings Joan Baez made in that same period, like Any Day Now, One Day at a Time, David's Album. All albums wich I cherish aswell.
