The CD entitled Way Moleque was launched on June 17, 2004 with show at the Village Store, Sao Paulo. In the repertoire, rewrites of the successes of Leoni, Quintal Fund and Jovelina Black Pearl already showed the eclecticism of the band. The disc was, still, a pot-pourri of parties of high-carat, contrasting with a pot-pourri of reggae as Stir it Up.
With the increase in the number of shows and the public in 2004, besides increasing the performance of songs like I never loved Thus, the way Moleque signed in January 2005, a contract with Universal Music. porque o jeito moleque já vai começar.
The lyrics of Jeito Moleque's song "Meu Jeito Moleque" portray the carefree and jovial spirit of the band's lifestyle, values, and personality. The song begins with a friend rushing to leave, putting on their cap, and heading out in their loose shorts. They proceed to meet up with their buddies, who are preparing to attend a party called "pagode," and they share a drink.
The chorus "tá no jeito de andar, no jeito de viver, ninguém pode mudar é meu jeito moleque de ser" conveys the idea that their careless and unconcerned lifestyle is ingrained in them, and they cannot alter it regardless of external factors or pressure. Every aspect of their behavior, from the way they walk to the way they live, exudes this careless and joyful demeanor that embodies their "jeito moleque."
The lyrics' relaxed tone and use of slang words show the band's deep connection with their Brazilian roots, and their language reflects the carefree and chill vibe they want to impart to their listeners. Overall, the band's decision to embody a youthful spirit and promote a carefree lifestyle enables them to create music that people can connect to and enjoy.
