I am so sorry you got bullied for not looking "Asian enough." That sounds insanely wrong to me on many different levels.
Bullies are always insecure cowards. They put other people down to make themselves feel better. And if that isn't pathetic, I don't know what is. It took me a long time to believe it when I was told that bullies are people who have a problem but it's honestly true.
Since you're Canadian, maybe you would appreciate another half-Korean success story: the French-Korean singer, Gina De Bosschère! Korean mom, French dad. She was on the JYP survival show A2K and made it all the way till the very last episode when she was cut from the group that is now called VCHA.
But Gina did not let that stop her. On the same day VCHA released "Y.O.Universe", Gina released her first single "Freedom." That was just over two months ago, and she has already released at least 3 more singles, all of which I highly recommend! "Stranger Danger"

"I.M.Perfect" - Gina wrote this herself and performed with another former contestant, Yuna, who had been on A2K but was cut several episodes after reaching the Korean portion of the show.
Gina's YouTube channel's official name is GinaDeBoss and her fans are called DeWolves!
That reminds me! Nina Hillman of NiziU is Japanese-American! (Japanese mom, white American dad.) She was on another JYP survival show named "Nizi Project Season 1", all of which is on YouTube, just like "Season 2" (boy group - they should have their final episode very soon!) and A2K. Nina, born in Washington state, was 14 at the time of the show, and had only been living in Japan for two years. She didn't speak the language before at all. She has an amazing voice! If you watch the first few episodes to see Nina's first audition, it's really something else!
Gina and Nina (omg it rhymes!) are very lovely and talented, and I'm sure you are as well! Just keep being yourself, and knowing that you are a special person no matter what anyone tries to tell you. ❤
