The song is about a woman that Jeremy was apparently seeing, and the two started talking over the internet, slowly started meeting, and then fell in love. The love story didn’t last forever as the two are no longer together.
Jeremy said via Twitter on March 24, 2020, that “julia” was his favorite song he has ever released. A day before, Jeremy teased the song through a Tweet and an Instagram post.
“Everything about “julia” — the lyrics and the melody and the production and the structure and the dynamic shifts — is exactly what I wanted to make. It is a song about a person who I wrote a lot of my previous songs about. This was the last song that I was going to write about her. I needed some closure. Between all those reasons, I guess that’s why it’s my favorite. It fits a very specific part of my life.“ - via Apple Music
“I wrote this song over a year ago, right when I got home from my first US headline tour. ‘julia’ is a song about self-realization and closure. It was the first song I finished for the album, and it encapsulates the most important emotions and feelings that come up in the album.“ — Jeremy via The Prelude Press

Remembered old memories
Cryin' in my sleep
But I'd rather dream of nothing at all
The more I think I grow
The less I seem to know, oh
You saw me sing last week
I was hopin' you might ask"Is this one about me?"
But how could you just say nothin' at all?
The more I think I grow
The less I seem to know, oh, oh
Julia, I'm through with ya
Julia, I'm through with ya
Thought we'd never see the sun fade (sun fade)
Now we'll never see that shit shining (shining)
Did we use to fear the dark days? (Dark days)
'Cause now I'm dancin' in the moonlight
Above the city lights, yeah
Where all the shooting stars eventually die (yeah)
We're burned into the sky a million times
Oh, mmm, mmm
(We're up)
Movin' at light speed
And I don't need gravity
Runnin' on empty
Isn't it nice to just feel nothing at all?
I think I finally know
The reason I let go
Julia, I'm through with ya
Thought we'd never see the sun fade (sun fade)
Now we'll never see that shit shining (shining)
Did we use to fear the dark days? (Dark days)
'Cause now I'm dancing in the moonlight
Above the city lights, yeah
Where all the shooting stars eventually die (Julia, die)
We're burned into the sky a million times
Oh, mmm, mmm
(Wow, just ignore this one)
Julia, I'm through with ya
Julia, I'm through with ya
The song "Julia" by Jeremy Zucker is about a past relationship that left the singer with a lot of unresolved emotions. He starts the song by recounting a dream he had about his old flame and how it made him cry. He then talks about how he was hoping that she would see him perform and ask if the song he was singing was about her. But when she doesn't acknowledge him, it reinforces his feeling that he's better off without her. He then gets nostalgic about how they used to fear the dark days together and how they thought they'd never see the sun fade. However, he has now moved on from her and is enjoying the feeling of "just feeling nothing at all" while dancing in the moonlight.
The chorus "Julia, I'm through with ya" is a declaration that he's over her and ready to move on. The song is about coming to terms with the end of a relationship and realizing that sometimes it's better to let go and move on.
One interesting fact about the song is that Jeremy Zucker originally recorded a version of the song with a different chorus, but decided to change it after getting feedback from his fans. Another interesting fact is that the lyrics were inspired by a dream that he had about a past relationship. The song was released in 2018 as part of Zucker's EP "summer," which includes other hits like "talk is overrated" and "all the kids are depressed."

@silentrice7399
I’m sick of staying at home. This is a relief call
@avi_g
Silent Rice same!!!
@clide8436
Staying at home is all it is lately
@layeng251
I might lose my mind soon like this
@Axsyeh
Honestly...I’m fine with staying home, maybe I’m an introvert or it’s that social events are not my forte
@PremiumHowTo
I may be the only one fine with staying home. More people staying home= More people playing video games. More people playing video games= more YouTube searches about video games. More searches= More Views. More Views= More Ad Views/Revenue earned.
@maradanaaa
we all have our own "Julia" when we're listening to this song.
