In 2001, while working at a recording studio in LA, Jes met Mike Olson. The two formed Guardians of the Earth, which was a former successful on MP3.com with songs like Starchildren and One Moon Circling. Starchildren was included on Paul van Dyk’s 2001 Ministry of Sound compilation, The Politics of Dancing. Jes has also collaborated with producers such as D:Fuse, Deepsky and Solar Stone, producing tracks like Living The Dream, Ghost, and Like A Waterfall. The latter track appears on the compilation album In Search of Sunrise 4 by Tiësto, who she also appeared alongside with on selected dates during his Tiësto In Concert Tour.
Jes's most well known work to date is her collaboration with Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden (of Gabriel & Dresden), which led to the formation of the group Motorcycle. Their 2003 hit As the Rush Comes was a number one single on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart in 2004, on which it also became the first year-end number one Dance Airplay track of the same year. As the Rush Comes gave Jes international exposure, which then allowed her to perform in larger venues and festivals like Bacardi Festival (Lebanon), Fresh (Malta), World Electronic Music Festival (Toronto), Escape In The Park (Wales), Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena and Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Denver).
In 2006, the song Ghost was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.
Working with producers Steve Sidelnyk and Sean Spuehler, Jes recorded her debut solo album Disconnect, which was released in August 2007 on Tiësto’s Black Hole Recordings and Magik Muzik.

Stronger
Jes Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
don't stay too long baby
you might fade, or maybe I will
the night is getting stronger
the days are getting longer
and I don't think I can take it
midnight Novocaine
one way fascination, I cant be or maybe I can
Chorus
sometimes a souvenir, sometimes a celebration
so try me on now, tie me on down
sometimes it's nice to take it
Chorus
The lyrics to Jes's song "Stronger" appear to describe a night filled with intense emotions and experiences. The line "acho super rated, all night hurricane" suggests a feeling of being overwhelmed, as though the singer is caught in the eye of a storm. The cautionary line "don't stay too long baby, you might fade, or maybe I will" hints at the transient nature of the experience being described, and the possibility that it will leave the singer feeling drained or changed in some way.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the idea that the night is getting stronger and the days are getting longer, which could represent a sense of time moving too quickly, or of the intensity of the experience lasting longer than expected. The line "and I don't think I can take it" conveys a feeling of being pushed to one's limits, either physically or emotionally.
The second verse of the song introduces the character of "blue child, T'ude his way in," who seems to represent an outside force or influence that the singer is encountering. The reference to "midnight Novocaine" adds a sense of danger or recklessness to the scene, which is echoed in the line "one way fascination, I can't be or maybe I can." This could imply that the singer is struggling with the desire to give in to the moment, even if it means risking a negative outcome.
