The result has been a whirlwind of attention from fans down under, propelling Jes’s version of “Different Worlds” to the Number 6 spot on the Australian iTunes chart and attaining gold status. The song became so popular that judge Keith Urban had one of the contestants on his team to sing “Different Worlds.” Since then, the song has been featured in commercials for Home & Away and Tricky Business, both prime time TV shows in Australia. The groundswell of fans and attention from the music industry has led to the June 15th release of Jes Hudak’s song, “Another Day” from her National Holiday album, scheduled for release later this year in Australia.
Like most careers in music, Jes’s has been one marked by unpredictable twists and turns, but from a very young age the upstate New York native knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life. She started playing piano at the age of 8. By 13 she was performing songs she had written at Caffe Lena’s Open Mic Night in Saratoga Springs, NY. After being discovered by an artist-in-residence at Skidmore College who had a recording studio, she recorded her first collection of songs and self-released her first album. She was in the ninth grade.
“My Dad would drive me out to the studio after school and then I’d have to be back in time to get my homework done,” she says.
Since then, Jes has recorded, produced and self-released two albums, performed on the same stage as such prominent artists such as Maroon 5, Gavin DeGraw, Howie Day, Tonic and Five for Fighting, and toured with Enrique Iglesias as the sole female backup singer for the Central American leg of his Insomniac 2008 tour. She’s sung the National Anthem at Giants Stadium and has performed on a national Pantene commercial.
In 2010 she performed at Lilith Fair in Los Angeles, after winning the SoCal Lilith Fair Contest on Ourstage. She was also named ISSA’s Singer/Songwriter of the Year 2009, and won Pop Single of the Year 2009 at the LA Music Awards for her original song “Another Day.”
Early last year Jes released an EP, National Holiday, comprised of five self-penned tracks, which showcase both her songwriting prowess and her considerable performance chops. The EP’s title track, National Holiday, won the Billboard World Song Contest in Pop, and her music video for “No One In The World,” another track on the EP, was selected as AOL’s Featured Music Video.
And then in the fall of last year when she wasn’t playing gigs at Hollywood’s Hotel Café and NYC’s Rockwood Music Hall and other hip venues in between, she got the opportunity to try out for “Platinum Hit.”
Bravo's “Platinum Hit” showcased emerging singer-songwriters on their quest to become the next big hitmaker. The series followed 12 musicians as they battled through innovative songwriting challenges that tested their creativity, patience and drive.
“It was a very intense experience and it helped me to understand how much I could handle in that kind of environment,” says Jes about her experience on the show. “Getting the chance to get in front of somebody like (Head Judge) Kara DioGuardi who’s such a heavy hitter as a songwriter, and get direct feedback from her was invaluable. There’s no way I’m going to let anything I learned on that show go to waste.”
The show has had a profound effect on Jes so far. “My writing process is completely different now,” she says. “I used to be very precise and not edit, writing one line at a time. My notebooks looked really neat. Now I do free-writing, stream-of-consciousness, until I get to the good stuff. And I’m not afraid to edit!”
With her new skills as a songwriter, Jes collaborates regularly with rappers like Freddie Gibbs (CTE), Wax (DefJam) and Gotham Green. She also fronts the electronica/soul duo “Bang, You're Dead” with DJ/producer Quickie Mart.
And now, with “Australia” to conquer, Jes is looking forward to the next chapter in her incredible career. Launched, once again, with an opportunity on a reality show, Jes Hudak is clearly here to stay.

All Mine
Jes Hudak Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
How was I supposed to know,
That you would be all that I need?
I know that I'm not the only one who loves you,
But I don't mind, I don't mind,
And I walk your way almost every day and
Every time I smile, I smile.
'Cause I know what my heart heard,
That you're, you're all mine, you're all mine.
I love you so because I know,
You will be waiting for me,
Even if I never show.
Streetlights show me the way,
Will I get to see you today?
I always feel this pang of pain,
When I have to head home on the train,
Oh no.
I know that I'm not the only one who loves you,
But I don't care, I don't care,
'Cause no matter where I go in this world,
I know you'll always be there, you'll be there.
You don't even have to speak,
'Cause it's written in these streets,
That you're, you're all mine, you're all mine.

"All Mine" by Jes Hudak is a beautiful love song that delves into the heart of a person who has found their soulmate. The lyrics start by talking about the moment when the singer first arrives at their lover's street and didn't know what to expect. Yet in no time, they realize that this person is all they need in life. Despite the singer's understanding that they are not the only one who loves their partner, they don't mind sharing their love with others because they are confident in their union. Every time they walk down this street, their heart smiles, and they know deep down that they are all that their partner needs, and the feeling is mutual. The lyrics talk about a sense of belonging, comfort, and security that one finds in the midst of uncertainty.
The second verse of the song reaffirms the bond between the lovers. The singer realizes that their partner will always be waiting for them, even if they never show up. The streetlights guide the singer to their lover's place, and the fear of not being able to meet their lover grows with every moment. The pain that is felt when they have to head home on the train without seeing their lover is palpable. However, the singer knows that they are not alone in loving their partner, but what makes their love special is the way it is written in the streets. Their love seems to be bound to the streets, the place where they first met, and where they fell in love.
Overall, "All Mine" is a song that captures the essence of love and how it can transform a person's life. It talks about the beauty of finding someone who completes you and makes you feel like you're on top of the world. The lyrics tell a story of devotion, loyalty, and unfaltering love.

The first time my feet hit your street,
When I first came to your neighborhood
How was I supposed to know,
I didn't expect that
That you would be all that I need?
I only realized later that you were everything I wanted
I know that I'm not the only one who loves you,
I'm aware that other people also love you
But I don't mind, I don't mind,
But that doesn't bother me
And I walk your way almost every day and
I walk towards you almost every day
Every time I smile, I smile.
I feel happy every time I see you
You don't have to say a word,
You don't need to speak
'Cause I know what my heart heard,
Because I know what I feel in my heart
That you're, you're all mine, you're all mine.
That you belong to me
I love you so because I know,
I love you because I'm sure
You will be waiting for me,
That you'll be waiting for me
Even if I never show.
Even if I don't always come to see you
Streetlights show me the way,
The lights on the street guide me
Will I get to see you today?
I hope I will see you today
I always feel this pang of pain,
I always feel a sharp pain
When I have to head home on the train,
When I have to leave on the train
Oh no.
That makes me sad.
I know that I'm not the only one who loves you,
Again, I know other people love you
But I don't care, I don't care,
But that doesn't matter to me
'Cause no matter where I go in this world,
Because I will always find you wherever I go
I know you'll always be there, you'll be there.
I know you'll always be with me
You don't even have to speak,
You don't need to say anything
'Cause it's written in these streets,
Because it's obvious to everyone in this neighborhood
That you're, you're all mine, you're all mine.
That you belong to me and no one else
