Jesper Kyd, (pronounced "Yesper Kied"), born in 1972, Copenhagen, Denmark, … Read Full Bio ↴Jesper Kyd, (pronounced "Yesper Kied"), born in 1972, Copenhagen, Denmark, is a music composer most notably composing for video games such as the Hitman series, Freedom Fighters, Kane and Lynch: Dead Men, Assassin's Creed and Borderlands.

He started out in the mid-eighties by making music on the C64 computer, and made music for many Demo-groups on the C64 and later the Amiga before he started making game music.

Love this guy since I played AC2 and heard "Ezio's Family" it's interesting how it says in Darksiders 3 they hired the original composer from Darksiders 1 Cris Velasco. I wonder why that is? Maybe Jesper was busy? Maybe they wanted to go back to the roots? Was Jesper too expensive this time around somehow?! Did they not like Jesper as much as Cris? So many questions lol.

I hope that thq learns that in order to give a world an atmospheric feeling it needs music to enhance the atmosphere. That's why I loved playing zelda, bayonetta, shadow of colossus, and metroid.

What is the name of the track that plays during fights in City of the Dead? It is easily the catchiest of them all, only you can't really catch it in Youtube.
