He started out in the mid-eighties by making music on the C64 computer, and made music for many Demo-groups on the C64 and later the Amiga before he started making game music.

Bruh the last 2/3 of this song rnt that at all. Look at the whole picture. Hear the intense sorrow set in, during the middle. As the final third sets in, see the freedom of the child become more sparse as sharp anxious sounds and wailing angels cut through and disrupt it, until it fades into nothing and new reality sets in. I always loved this track because to me it represents Ezio's youth and innocence. It plays all the time in AC 2 and even plays in Brotherhood during the Christina missions. The first 50 seconds are like that, and then it gets more serious at the 1:00 mark and then at 3:05 are so mesmerizing.

When i bought Ezio Trilogy in 2012... remembering now those great times, the old times, when Assassin's Creed was really Assassin's Creed. I still have those moments in my heart. I would say the reason why this soundtrack is so good is because it captures a renaissance feel very well and it also plays into the rush of the game well. The tracks that are fast paced match the whole running part in the game and then parts like this match the dungeons (forget what they are called) in the game.

this, this one is probably ome of my favorite game soundtracks ever. it's so perfect, so warm, so climatic. i remember when i would stand on one of Florence's rooftops for, like, 10 minutes only to hear this as many times as possible.

Played this for the first time this year, and the 1st game last year.. the 1st game blew my mind. It'll always remind me of getting out of the shower and sitting there with my towel still on finding every flag in Masayf etc, and jumping off the View Points. AC II on the other hand will remind me of early mornings this year with this song playing while looking for treasure chests. AC II has also really reinforced my creative spirit, because of that damn Renaissance era timeline it is set in. It's not really mentioned as a focal point but omfg you can just feel it. I first played this game in the summer of 2010 at 9 years old, watching “Victorious” on Nickelodeon and having AC2 on standby was a great time. This song is one of the standouts

It's this song that I recall most fondly from AC2. In the moments that it played, I did not feel that I was playing a video game. Rather, I was a physical inhabitant a foreign and unfamiliar world but one that elicited from me profound feelings of awe and amazement.

I love how the beat in the beginning is relentless and soon gets overshadowed by the chorus wave, only to mellow out again in a staccato-like prance. Brilliant.

As a kid spending his childhood in Italy while growing playing this game, cant describe how nostalgic this soundtrack is. This soundtrack perfectly captured the atmosphere of reinsurance Italy and will go down as one of the best video game soundtracks of all time in my opinion

Never played the game, but this song is completely beautiful and Jesper Kyd is awesome for making it. Lots of 90s vibes from the synths used. Definitely a carefree effervescent vibe to the beginning that I love.

Man it just reminds of me of the good days I was either 8 or 9 when this game out ac2 and I loved it , life was so different back then so magical and I was so happy as a kid , now I am feeling lost at 23 years old , but I believe and still have hope that soon in a few years I can be happy I just need to put the work in . I am sad these days are no longer here these days were the best ever , even better then dreams just coming home playing ac2 and all the other amazing games but I now have to work for my happiness as we all do ❤️🙏 good luck people don’t be sad the times are over be happy we experienced them

Too bad Assassin's Creed will never be the same, now that nowadays everyone's corrupted with the thought of money.
I wish I could erase my memory of Assassin's Creed II so that I could play it for the first time and experience its brilliance again.

A masterpiece. One of the greatest in-game themes in gaming history in my opinion. I never felt the Assassins Creed series ever managed to replicate the feel of the Ezio series.

God this game man. It’s so damn good and the soundtrack is just beautiful. I remember 2-3 years ago, it was my birthday. Me and my family were pretty broke at the time so my dad got some games from his friend. One of those games being assassins creed. I was confused. I thought to myself “What is this game? Is it any good?”. I had never even heard of assassins creed at the time. None the less, I popped the disc into my Xbox 360 and tried it out. And boy I fell in love with it. I should mention at the time I loved parkour, and fighting, so it makes sense why I would like the series. Anyways, I would go on to beat the game and loved every minute of it. Soon after that me and my dad went to GameStop to look around and maybe get some new games. And that’s when I saw it. My eyes and face lit up. It was none other then assassins creed 2. “My favorite game has a sequel?!”. My dad bought it for me and as soon as we got home I ran inside, kicked off my shoes, got comfortable, and popped the disc in. And boy let me tell you I played the shit out of it. It was everything from the first game, done 100x better. Better story, better graphics, better parkour, better fighting, better everything. I beat the game (no surprise there I mean the game was amazing) and once I discovered you could get altairs (sorry if I spelled that wrong) armor, I almost went crazy. I grinded the game every single day until I got it. And then after that I played even more until I got all the QR code things. Then I got an Xbox One. I never got to beat assassins creed 3, nor did I even get far into it. Fast forward to 2022. I’m scrolling through the Microsoft store. Don’t know what to play. Then I see it: Assassins Creed Odyssey. It was free on gamepass, and I had gamepass, so why not download it since I liked the other games? Well I started playing it, but something felt…off. It just didn’t feel right. The combat was changed, the parkour was too fast paced which trust me, I’m not complaining, but still. And everything was just to fast paced for me. The parkour was pretty good, the combat was…meh, and the choices you could make just made it not that great of a game. I realized what was off. And it was that… it just wasn’t the same. The game was awful compared to the old games. But games get better with time… right? So why was this one so bad? I finally understood why it was so bad. Ubisoft changed it. It was ubisofts fault. If they just left the games how it was but sprinkled in new stuff each time the game would’ve been 1000x better. But they wanted to change it. They got greedy.

Anyways that was my rant I know it was super long lol. I just had to let people know how I feel about this game. And guys, take my advice, just don’t play odyssey unless you like RPG games and running around a huge map all the time. And if you want to play the assassins creed series, start with assassins creed 1 and work your way up. Trust me, it’ll be much better. Anyways, thanks for reading, and have a good day. In addition to this OST, the Easter egg where Ezio return to his home in Florence after a few years, he had this called Bleeding effect that brought up his memory with his family just by the front door of his house, damn it was depressing of how Ezio was supposed to have a peaceful life. Running errands from his father, Helping his mother and his siblings, troubling Vierre and probably, courting Cristina but, well, life is sh*t, I just can't get over nostalgia 😅
