Gillian Welch
Oh me, oh my-oh
Look at Miss Ohio
She's a-running around with her rag-top down
She says, I want to do right but not right now
Gonna drive to Atlanta
Running around with the rag-top down
Yeah, I want to do right, but not right now
Had your arm around her shoulder
A regimental soldier
And mama starts pushing that wedding gown
Yeah, you want to do right, but not right now
Oh me, oh my-oh
Would you look at Miss Ohio
She's a-running around with the rag-top down
She says, I want to do right, but not right now
And I know all about it
So you don't have to shout it
I'm gonna straighten it out somehow
Yeah, I want to do right, but not right now
Oh me, oh my-oh
Look at Miss Ohio
She's a-running around with her rag-top down
She says, I want to do right, but not right now
Oh, I want to do right, but not right now
The song "Ohio" by Jesse T. Reid is a cover of the song "Look at Miss Ohio" by Gillian Welch. The song is about a woman named Miss Ohio who is portrayed as a free spirit, driving around in her car with the top down, and avoiding the responsibilities of marriage and adulthood. She acknowledges that she should do what is right, but at the same time, she wants to live out her fantasies before settling down. The song portrays a sense of rebellion and freedom that Miss Ohio feels in her quest to find herself.
The lyrics suggest that Miss Ohio has a past with a soldier who was ready to marry her, but she is not ready for that kind of commitment. Her mother is eager for her to settle down and start a family, but Miss Ohio is not ready for that either. Although she knows that she needs to straighten things out eventually, she is not ready to do it right now.
The song's chorus repeats the line “I want to do right, but not right now” which reinforces the idea of Miss Ohio's desire for freedom and her reluctance to commit to any obligations. The song is an exploration of the inner conflict between the desire to do what’s right and the desire to experience life on one’s own terms.

Yea I have a picture of him. Turns out my dad still had a milk carton with a picture of him on the back.
Most people don't know this but if a kid goes missing, they get posted in a milk carton. Which doesn't really happen right now.
